By the starting of the year bitcoin experienced several big problems starting from a BU crash, splitting of the chain, loss of support from the miners, concensus, fake volume crisis in China making the collapse in the entire cryptocurrency network. Bitcoin has overcome all these factors in a short and has been going good without crashes. Sometimes deep falls were represented as crash. Here this time it cannot be mentioned as a crash, because the price retains quicker than ever.

They are waiting for it to go back up, in the case of bitcoin I will agree but too often I've seen altcoin bagholders convinced the price will recover when it never does. Be careful and know what you are investing in.

You only lose if you sell your bitcoins or any kind of coin for a lower price than your bought price but there is a saying that you will get a loss if you will sell it for a lower price so it is better to just hold when the price is high and keep holding until the price get higher than your buying price so you can get profits and sell.

Yes that is the only way to lose and also when you are gambling it somewhere. But if you sold some a lower price but you've got some profit with that price, it's still considerable that you earned some amount so there's nothing to lose, when you got profit whether it is low or high, you are still got some profit with it.

What if you sell and then BTC prices crash? I dont understand how someone can be a permanent bull and be so enthusiastic to the point where they are financially suicidal. I believe that bitcoin is the future but I also know there is a high risk involved with any sort of cryptocurrency investment.

Well this is a game of the bulls and bears you have to think far away of the minimal risk factors. One can’t win till that time till go through a risk even if we take the example of a movies the hero of every movie go through a risk and after he is succeeded he becomes the hero. Same is the case here you have to be a real life hero.

Yes I agree you have to keep an eye on your investment all the time, we never know the exact timing of the prices getting high or low for this purpose we are supposed to have a full time monitoring system for our investment.
This is known as the portfolio management and those who are good enough to keep yourself updated all the time are the best managers and earners.

Greed does play a big role in losing money in anything. Like in gambling and investing. If you hold to long and never sell at even near the peak then you will likely just settle for a few percentage income or even for losses because you missed your chance when the prices were pretty high. I've experience this a lot of times, especially with bitcoins.

I always lost when I was too greedy. Like when ETH was going up to 180$ I waited for the peaks and selled, then it was cheaper like 10$ and I buyed in. I lost my nerve when it hitted 100$ again. I am such a fool. Now I just hold that shit.

I lose if my accounts have no income. For me, if I did not participate/joined in the signature campaign/ other way to earn bitcoin I have no chance to increase my income (only trading). As a student, it’s hard to give a full time to focus on bitcointalk instead they need more time for schooling. In this situation I spend 2-3 hours for bitcoinTalk, I think it is not enough for my multiple accounts to manage their activity/posts. To avoid this what if, I have a time management and I join to altcoin (campaign w/ small posts needed), even I have no fixed income but I have a sure income that I waits.

But I do not agree that you are losing for not selling at peaks. Moreover it is not actual losses, you are missing some portions of your profits hence it should not be considered as pure losses.

Greed may kill your profits but I am not ready to accept with the case of bitcoin holding, only people who are greedy, holding till date and other have booked profits at $800/$1000/$1500/$2000 levels itself. Still, they were not losing, but if they were greedy they might got another portions of big profits.

And not just you will lose but you will also regret it. This is going to be a forever loss for you but still while it is early don't try to give up and just keep on waiting. Everything will be fine soon when the price of bitcoin starts to land at $3k and above, you only need to believe that it will land there as the demand is now increasing.
