A couple of months back, this current price we're on right now is a target for the end of this year and yet here we are. People are now starting to believe in btc and holding for a time seems the most ideal decision at the moment. You can't lose with bitcoin, just be patient

bitcoin is providing opportunities to people from time to time. those people who are early investors are now enjoying the great profit of bitcoin, but those people who have invested money in bitcoin late at 2016 they are also enjoying more that double of their profit and so i am sure that those people who will invest money in bitcoin right now they will also be enjoying a good profit in near future, so i do not think that there is any reason to regret but need to pick up the right time and get profit from bitcoin and forget about the past.

I guess this scenario may continue for decades for sure. Because experts are not seeing any stable value for bitcoins in near future and we can expect prices to keep on rising due to continuous demand from new investors and fixed total supply cap. I guess selling might provide losses in all possible means, maybe just using it for our daily needs may give you some satisfaction by not bothering any future values.

What if you sell and then BTC prices crash? I dont understand how someone can be a permanent bull and be so enthusiastic to the point where they are financially suicidal. I believe that bitcoin is the future but I also know there is a high risk involved with any sort of cryptocurrency investment.

the first point is that if everyone will continue to sell then the demand will reduce and supply will increase so the price will decrease.
The other point is that it is true that bitcoin has a future and it is also true with it that in crypto currencies if you will think to invest in bitcoin then you are not at risk but the profit will come to you.

Because the need is the first thing to be completed as we earn money to fulfill our near and if we did not fulfill our need with our bitcoin then why we are running Bitcoin. I think you are not that lucky because the price is now more than $2700. Holding is the best thing you would do after buying to make a big profit. Price is expected to cross $5000 this year and i don't think so no one will disagree with "more HODL more profit".

With my experience i surely agree with you no matter how low the price drops it's always better to keep patience and wait for the price to increase. The best advice is if the price fall create a sell order for maybe 10% profit max and forget it.
This can be a way which some of you may not agree but no matter where you trade always ignore yobit

if you don't calculate the risk. nothing is certain specially in trading. it is good to try but there always has to have a lot of thinking before doing it. calculate the pro's and cons. think not just twice but many times whether it is worth trying.

 Yes you are right hold is the best way to get high profit, if the price of bitcoin goes to down you have to buy bitcoin and hold for long time because in coming after one or two years the price of bitcoin  will goes to 4000$ or 4500$ so if the price of bitcoin will 4500$, you sell your bitcoin  because your money will goes that time very increased.

I have to question holding too long.

Let's say you buy 100BTC some time ago when it was about $10 each.

Suddenly it's $50 each, wow, profit!
And then it goes up to $500, even more profit!
But wait, it's at $2500, prooooooooooooofiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!
Then it goes up to $3500, and $5000, and then $50.000....

Sure, now with BTC being $2500+, I bet a lot of people who sold it at $50 are bashing their heads against the wall (most likely did long ago), but what's the point of just holding it? Watching your cryptocurrency grow? And grow? And maybe eventually crash?
You don't see any of that money until you actually cash it in. IMO, make profit and move on. There are other coins that might yield good profit. And once a coin that is dealing with AI is released, I'm going to buy a shitload of it and keep it for about 10 years.
