Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it?

I think the future price of bitcoin will answer your question. For example, i spent my time collecting bitcoin because i have big expectations for the future high price. When the price increase we nearly all happy (maybe except some traders  ) which means it is worth. But if we think the opposite we are all wasting time here

What do you mean by collect? I would recommend for you daily job and then from money you earn, buy bitcoin.
Collecting from faucets or any other means are far far far less efficent than actually working and buying bitcoin from your payroll.

But I will recommend him for collecting bitcoins like working for earning bitcoins rather than doing a daily job for fiat because in some places the fiat salaries are much lower than what we earn in bitcoin especially in trading bitcoins.

Well here I wouldn't worry about my monthly payroll cause I have 4 jobs atm I can keep up with bitcoin. But I will keep the daily jobs

What do you mean by collect? I would recommend for you daily job and then from money you earn, buy bitcoin.

In fact, some methods may be more efficient for people living in countries where the local currency is undervalued. But even for these people, it can be difficult to get the same payoff as regular job, unless the person is working for a more serious Bitcoin business, or if the person has his own business.

I think collecting of bitcoin can be good job to spend your free time. For example commenting for a campaign on the road to work and back, of course only in the case if you are not driving. At the beginning campaigns paid much more per comment, but now the price for bitcoin is high. So you can make some extra money easy way.

Why you do not do both? If you have the time and energy then keep your job and then use your free time to collect bitcoin that way you will not be subject to the changes in price that can be very wild in the bitcoin economy.

I think what he meant by collecting bitcoin is by earning or buying bitcoin and keeping it (holding). The question is just confusing because he is comparing it to having a job, in which he can do both(collecting and regular job) without any conflict.

I still collect bitcoins from games and rounds, or give aways from facebook groups. It is still worth it when price fluctuates really high.

I think they are more talking collecting free bitcoin, not working for it and the issue is that there are just not that many free bitcoin available anymore.  The faucets that I have seen all seem to be very small amounts, like 10 satoshi or so, or the sites are dried up.

bitcoin is a good way to earn EXTRA income.. unless you are already a pro in bitcoin community and has a lot of knowledge how to utilize and maximize your bitcoin then maybe, its good to focus to it. but if you're still a newbie then you should probably consider to have a permanent job. rather than depending your earnings in bitcoin.

To my opinion it's very worth. Bitcoin is future, it will become even more popular and accepted. The price will go up and on long time bitcoin holders will make profit. I'm trying to collect as much as I can through signature campaign. I would also like to find some other bitcoin source. IT takes efforts and time but it's definetely worth it.

Actually it's hard to earn bitcoin, and it's not worth it to make it a substitute for day job. You can't survive your daily expenses if you would just work for micro jobs posted in this forum, focusing on collecting as  a standalone way of making money won't work, that's for sure. Only programming skilled people could survive just by doing it. But it is worth it to make it a habit that instead of resting in the vacant time, why not look for bitcoin?

The worth of collecting Bitcoin depends upon the way you are choosing to collect it. I think no sane person would ever love to give up his job in order to claim Bitcoin from Faucets. Rather if you are talking about other ways then better compare both incomes. Requires much less of Maths

this is what i am thinking too for bitcoin, and i think it still worth if we are spend our time to collecting from small amount of bitcoin until we reach what we want with bitcoin. with the price now, i think we need more time to collecting the bitcoin but we can do it with hard work and smart work.

Is very enjoyable, when you look at the graph and do the technical analysis and at the same time try to understand the psychology of the market: will people buy or sell? (I will not give you tips I use)

I do day trade in poloniex and I must tell you what trade should be seen as a battlefield where you must use all means necessary to survive. Oh and yes, I've lost a lot of money too.

I do not hold my bitcoins thinking that a day has come that the price will reach $1000. Will reach, but when? nobody knows. All you have is foresight... bitcoin is a currency of refuge, this creates enormous volatility and also causes huge losses.

With collecting small amounts of Bitcoin I assume you're talking about doing signature campaigns? If so, then not much has happened nowadays with how much you can earn on a weekly or monthly basis. That's quite an achievement considering how much the price has gone up. I honestly expected the payouts to decrease, but that didn't really happen. I think it's mainly due to the fact that the majority of the signature campaigns are solely getting their revenue in Bitcoin. In that regard, it won't cost them a penny more when they reward people with for example 0.035BTC as is the case with Bitmixer. But if you look at other campaigns that have to buy everything before handing out payments, they either stopped their signature campaign entirely, or they significantly lowered their payouts.

I think it is worth spending collecting Bitcoin in any legal means.  May it be faucet milking, bounty hunting, social media task, signature campagin, buying from day job.  I believe all the time, effort and money spent here will worth it when the price of Bitcoin go up.  Actually it is worth collecting now.
