For starters you won lose anything if you have not bought any Bitcoin. Collecting Bitcoin for free in the internet can be useful investment for you. Yes collecting Bitcoin is not a waste of time because Bitcoin is a volatile currency right now BTC is worth 881$ per coin which is a very good price. If I were you start collecting Bitcoin because it can help you financially.
I don't think it is free. It is highly costly, how much do you earn per month as bitcoin? Convert it to fiat and consider the time you have spent to achieve that. Normal working period is 8 hours in my country and I spend more than on this forum. It is hard earn money. occupational harzard of headache and back ache from long hour sitting down in front of computer.
Indeed it is not free because there are no free lunch anywhere! That aside, the opportunity cost for the time put into collecting those dust is worth much, that the exercise could easily translate to waste of time - proceed may not even be enough to pay for internet subscription the following month. However Bitcoin is an evolving technology full of values and potentials, so whatever the cost to become knowledgeable and acquire some of it, is most likely to pay off much more in the future.

For it worths it in all sincerity no matter how small, its still better than wasting a lot time online and surfing only to be confronted with bad news everywhere, left right and centre. Even if it is small for a starter as times goes on, it will improve and it could mean something at the end of the day and for the fact that it worths it is the reason why we have a lot of people even on this forum as well as other forum and one thing that unite us is bitcoin.

Yes, for me it is working like a charm, Previously I was dependant on my parents for my recharges and pocket money, now I usually do that on my own. Thanks to bitcoin. XD

Same here. My brothers used to give me money or pay all my expenditures, but now when i have started using bitcoin from that day i did not ask them for even a penny. I just spend what i earn and i buy anything i want with my own money. i cant describe what a nice feeling it is.

Is it worth spending time to collect Bitcoin rather than having a daily job? What I mean is that can bitcoin be more economical? Has it ever happened that people lose their investment value rather than benefit from spending it on bitcoin?

As a payment method it is better than others. If you earning bitcoin you will be pain in the $$$ value and yes that value can drop or rise so it is like being paid in an investment. It can happen these times.

it has been more than worth it to invest in bitcoin so far. with the continued adoption and the over time growth all around the world price will continue to go up.
these days newer countries that we never thought are adopting bitcoin, Indians are so interested in investing in bitcoin, i have seen lots of interest coming from Africa also. all these will only lead to higher prices long term.
The Indians are being harassed by their government that has ban the highest denomination notes and limited the amount of money they can hold so it makes sense for them to adopt bitcoin to protect themselves.

Bitcoin the best way to earn a money, you can just collecting and no hardworking. If you had a skills and you want a big money then do for that cause it is useless your skills if you don't use it. At the first of collecting bitcoin is not worth but in several weeks or the maturity it is better to collect that to daily job.

i think you are misinformed, India banned "banknotes" and it is not money, it is a different story and it was done to prevent illegal activity and they issued new banknotes in place of those old ones they banned.

also they never limited the money people can "hold" the limited the money they could withdraw to prevent banks getting empty overnight Cheesy

Exactly, the whole scenario took place to prevent illegal activities as well as to strengthen the banking sector and indirectly the economy. It was preliminary focused on those who accumulated the unaccounted money in the form of currency notes. However government has issued fresh notes of those denominations and another note of larger denomination and situation is getting back to normal.

Bitcoin isn't worth spending if you work hard for it to earn and at the same time you expect to double its value in the next few weeks or months. BTC is worth saving because we all know its value is going to rise in the future. Its ben proven in the past that its value is rising since the time of great deluge lol that it dip to $200 but look at it now.

Thje people who bought btc when it dip to $200 probably saw it coming.

Not only Indians everywhere the same scenario has been found. Recent days issue happened with India, which has been quoted as a worst decision by an authority by most of the press and media worldwide. Truly it helped lots to get a attention towards bitcoin during those days.

I think you should focus on the job because without a job you can't earn money from which you can bitcoins.
If you think you can collect bitcoins and become a billionaire then you are on the wrong road
Hope it helped your thinking.

You are right collecting free bitcoins i mean collecting bitcoins without any investment take more time so if we consider our time as our investment than it take more. But if you do trade or invest in some other place then you will get a highest amount of bitcoins within a shorter time of the day.

Nope what you will gonna earn with Bitcoin is not enough to be competitive with a salary price wise. Even a minimum wage earner will earn more in their work rather spend all there time collecting Bitcoin. The amount of Bitcoin you will collect online is limited only and it won't make you rich even if you hold it for a long time.

It depends on what you are working on in the bitcoin/online world. If you're a salary earner working for mcdonalds and gets paid at an hourly rate of $4 an hour compare that to someone working online with just 3 hours of work and earns a hundred dollars. You see the difference? Your statement is one sided and never considered some other factors. Mind you, this very forum earns roughly 1 bitcoin a day and even more. You do the math.

I think the better thing to do is have a day job and just buy bitcoin from what you earn. Then do some research on how you can make your bitcoins grow by virtue of investing them. There are really many ways to make money from bitcoin, it is just a matter of finding out what you are good at and offering it in exchange for a bitcoin.

This is what I do. Whatever is left from my salary, I invest into bitcoin itself. So that means I save my savings in the form of bitcoins which is nice since I got some profit from it. I've been saving a few since early 2016, so that kinda doubled my savings in just a year. Though the amount of bitcoins I save does decrease every time prices increase since the amount my fiat can buy goes lower every time.

Yes the better thing to do is to have a day job, and collect bitcoin like you collect stamps, gold coins, or gold. Bitcoin is a risky investment although I am sure long term it is in the up trend.

A day job is truly the best option and make bitcoin your sideline job whenever you're not working a day job and surely you'll quickly generate so much wealth you never thought was possible. Add some more sidelines like investing and trading then you're good for life. Just work hard and work smart.
