Hello GUYS!
I have searched like idiot, really Reading every line of every page, googeling line retard and still havent found something good. I use 'One click straps' on Polaris Bios Edition and modded my cards. Running on 1200/2200 and can get only about 800 h/s on Crytonight Heavy when others get 1000 h/s+ with lower settings like 1150/2000 and RX 470/480 or something. ( I dont know what i do wrong ) I have tried everything, but it seems there is a diffrence between ETH and XMR mining timing straps? (Cuz i have ETH i Think) I have tried to copy 1750 to 2000.. or 1500->2000 but still I dont manage to go over 800 what ever i do. My ASCI percentage is around 70-75% on those GPU's and i run them at 1150-1250 and 2200-2300 without any errors but it gives like same results what ever i do, cant manage to go over 800.
I have one rig with 8x Sapphire RX 580 8 GB. 3 with ( K4G80325FB, Samsung - H5GQ8H24MJR, SK HYNIX ) 5 with ( MT51J256M32, Micron )
If you can please PM me some timing straps, or I can send you BIOS file you can mod it for me that would be awsome. I wouldn't be asking this from you if I found my self. Ty guys
Sounds like its not straps that are your problem, but your cryptonight miner settings I run XMR-Stak with 2x threads, intensity 896, and worksize 8. I've tried to play around in here too but can't manage to go over. I have all from 700-850 h/s depends on GPU but round 6350h/s for 8 GPUS. I think its strap and timing settings, idk i can be wrong.

use JCEminer or SRB miner, for JCE intensity on hynix is 944 , 2 threads, 8 work size for Micron, the most accepted is 960+896 Samsung is the same. SRB miner doesn't allow configuring each thread so, its experimenting with values from 56 to 60 for intensity (with 2 threads and 8 work size) CN heavy needs special straps (cryptonight in general) there is one Hynix MJR in SRBminer thread so good at 2100 mhz memory, for Samsung, afaik 3.1enhanced ubermix is the best. However i think for samsung and micron there is a lot of improvement. GL

I got 7200 h/s. Avrage 900h/s for each cards at 1150/2150 @ 1100w on wall (too much? i use Sapphire TRIXX with -96v and -15% power) when i try to go up to 1200/2200 hashes go down xD I use XMR-STAK 896 intensity / 8 worksize / 2 threads. I dont know maybe SRB Miner or JCE is better. But its running stable now I don't want to disturb it hehe I had used old BIOS mods and old PBE, I had upgraded my PBE and one straps agian, but i didnt chose UberMix 3,2 (was no so good for me) i chose 3.1 was much better. and "GOOD hynix" now "universal". (The "FIX" for me to go from 800 -> 900 h/s.)

Bumping greatest gddr5 memory timing thread on the Internet...for nostalgic and (still) educational value I guess everything that needed to be said is said already

Gotta say, at first i did not like the Elpida 4032BABG, but now... they are pretty cool.
With the strap i am using, i can go as low as 1875Mhz and lose only 5h/s per GPU, compared to 1950Mhz. That is at 1240Mhz core.

Sounds a bit high core frequency, though. You forgot to say what hashrate you get, and what voltages

Elpida is already pretty tight. Thats why its doing great on CN alike algorithms.

My bad, when someone doesn't mention algo, I automatically assume ethash...guess I should get a clue from "lose only 5h/s per GPU"

Shouldn't we revive this thread now that people can finetune the old GDDR5 public timings with amd mem tweak?

Try for CN.

You could also say "well, dont you know how to make straps? Do we need to spoonfeed you like a baby?" Point is, guy who posted strap could easily post frequencies too, so people could decide if its even worth trying strap for their specific rigs
