Trading - It means buying and selling. It does not mean that you buy something and either you get the payment double or as per ratio or does not get it. i.e what the difference is about.

In Gambling generally in roulette, computer games you do not require any skills only luck to win it. While in trading you need to spot the opportunity, holding time if price is rising etc and sell it appropriately to get profit.

Well that's a good differentiation between trading and gambling. I think that why many are being mislead that trading is gambling because of the risk it has.

They are comparing and thinking that it is the same because it has the same thing. But they are not bearing in their minds that it's actually different.

Gambling is all about wagering and trading is far from it.

they actually think this way because they have nothing to compare it to. for example if they could see someone actually trade and be successful like by following him or seeing in real life they wouldn't call it as gambling anymore. and these people are usually too lazy to learn anything anyways and they just want easy money buy investing and taking millions the next day!

"In the hope of desired result.." That's the biggest difference between gambling and trading. In trading the decision will be in your hand, where as in gambling only luck matters.
You may get some returns in trading but in gambling you either win or loose.

There are some differences and reasons as to why trading is not gambling. To start with, you cannot control your losses in gambling but you can in trading by having stop-loss order. Even though you can control your losses in trading it is still a gambling because there is money involved and also risk that can make you loss money. I believe that if there is a risk involve in a source of income then it is kind of gambling.

If u have a big capital, your trading can put long position to earn the real main income
If small capital, u can just earn a little money or if u want earn real money u need to risk more.

So, the main element of do the long term trading is capital. yes, u cant take out the money also.
U need a reliable broker even low bonus because your money u need to protect.

If u starter of trading, u maybe find other "guru" (teacher), make sure to do portfolio and the $ to follow them.
Do your trading research and make sure you are a long term or short term type. And also FA / TA (financial or technical analysis)

above is my experience trading forex / CFD ...but maybe not on altcoin/btc. (i just aware i type so many on that)

The logic that you risk money in gambling as well as in trading doesn't in any way make them one and same as we know natural nature itself does not support vacuum, we have to sow a seed for instance to be able to harvest multiples of that seed. So that makes everything about life a risk, however somethings are riskier and some are even hopeless. Yes trading has its own share of risks, but it is certainly not a dead end as much  as is gambling - yet to hear of any trader taking their life over trades gone wrong as is common among gamblers.

Wrong, there is gambling game that is requiring it's gamblers to do so or maybe also optional. But that's normal in sports betting most of the gamblers will always do some research for it because we know that those gamblers wants to make sure on what they've been doing. Trading is good for young professionals and gambler is good for those happy go lucky and want it fast.

You can make good profits in sports betting if you have good knowledge about that particular sport and if you do certain level of research and good strategy can help you in making some descent profits and there are many full time gamblers that are earning a living from gambling but it may not be possible for all to depend only on gambling as it involves great level of research and also a huge risk of loosing money.

Both trading and gambling are need luck, no matter how skilled you are. The only one thing makes trading is not gambling just you can learn something from trading, and you can't lose all of your money when you trading.
