The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

New map looks and works beautifully. New density graphics are a great way to make the information more useful. Could a colour key help too? (i.e. something to match colour to the numbers, dynamically changing the number range that a colour represents as the total venues number grows)

Very nice! Worked great for me - the new ATM in town is already showing and I discovered a couple new places nearby.

Log in via sidebar and you'll see more options. (You can edit just venues added by you).

Browser and OS? The more verbose the bug report the better.

We just released coinmap 2.0!
Great!

Just 2 questions:
1) is the source code available?
2) where are the links to OpenStreetMap objects?

Thank you!

Just 2 questions:

1) No
2) Objects are no longer stored in OpenStreetMap. I had quite a long discussion with OSM folks some time ago and they were not very happy about the low quality (missing addresses, etc). of Bitcoin-related OSM nodes. So I decided to do just one-way sync (from OSM to coinmap).

I'm an OSM contributor, and I would have preferred to see wrong nodes removed (or fixed).

Ciao!

Does "one-way sync" mean that if i add a point on your site, it won't be added on OSM? Am i right?

Correct. See the reason for this above.

As I wrote, I don't like your choice at all.

Unfortunately I think I'll search for an alternative.

Another problem: I think you are violating the license.

http://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright

Where is the attribution for OSM data?

In my opinion this is not good, i think you will lose the leadership...
