Is there a way I can save a .json file of my exodus wallet like there is on regular MEW wallet??

To import it somewhere else? I believe it's not possible because the wallet doesn't contain the details for Ethereum only, the only thing you can export is the private key. I will confirm this with the team and keep you updated.

Pls let me know.

Hey
so ive been using exodus wallet for a week or two now and i have loved it until this morning when i saw BTC missing from my wallet.   For the past few days, my wallet kept showing a broadcasting message when i tried sending payments to Bitrex (about .05- $250 BTC); saying i needed to contact customer support.

After speaking with customer support, they told me to uninstall the wallet and reinstall it and back it up with the phrases they give you.   After backing up my wallet successfully, there is about .05 BTC missing which was the amount i tried sending to Bittrex.

I have been in contact with the same fellow who told me to uninstall the wallet but he keeps telling me there is no way it could disappear

One minute i had .2016084 BTC ($~910), now i have .14763511 BTC (~$640).   I keep all my investments logged (VERY CAREFULLY) on Blockfolio and have not moved anything in days so it cannot be because of synchronization errors.

I did some research myself and saw that other users also had the same problem; and coincidently their broadcast error occurred when they attempted to deposit to bittrex.   I quoted their thread here too so you guys can check it out and see if it confuses you like it did for me.

Please let me know if you guys have any advice on how to approach this because they think im making this up when i know im not!!!

Hi,

On 1 july I made 2 deposits ( 2 x 0.07 BTC )
from my Excodus Wallet 1.27.3 to Bittrex

I got a message something like "Broadcast error"
I tried it again and the same message showed up.

The BTC did not arrived and is not visable in the transactionhistory, but the amount of 0.14 is missing from my Exodus wallet.
I tried to scan the blockchain, but nothing happened. On the arrival-adres not visable  in "pending deposit"

How can I solve this

Even looking here https://blockchain.info/address/1GGvfjRFfecaudVNoP8fYTcxqoUGb2r5iB the numbers are not adding up. Also, there seems to be records deleted of exchanges i did through the wallet itself. Please read the whole thread and message me if you have any advice.... i know its not a synchronization error or from updating my funds to their true amount because i had .02 BTC there.... i just started using the wallet 3 days ago so i have transactions that add up from other sites where i send coins.

Has anyone actually tried out the Eden release?

I would definitely want to have my ICO tokens on Exodus as well because then i would be able to track it fairly easily along with my other investments. Otherwise, it's a hassle to monitor them on different wallets and try to keep track of them all.

Semes like that it is software provided 'as-is', no support.

If others have no major issues using Eden then i might as well try it out, because i trust Exodus even if they don't provide support.

I'm using the Exodus Eden release. So far I didn't have any issues, but I haven't tested all of the additional altxoins. U can also restore your backup of your old Exodus wallet

My personal suggestion would be to use it only If you are planning to report bugs etc. because it's definitely far from being a stable release and as I said on earlier posts, anything you see there will eventually come to the exodus wallet. If you are looking to store ERC20 token that are currently not supported by them, just go for Myetherwallet for the meantime.

Thanks for the response.

I'm still a bit confused regarding how Eden is related to Exodus. Will Exodus be rebranded to Eden in the future, and be based on the current Eden interface and functionality or will Exodus be still called Exodus but just have all the good stuff implemented from the pilot run of Eden?

I guess i'm going to stick to Myetherwallet for now for storing tokens. I'm sort of tempted to use it since i don't think too much can go wrong when you have your recovery phrase and be able to export your private keys but i'll go for the safer option for now.

If I understood correctly, they are 2 separate projects, so we'll have Exodus for the new users and Eden for the advanced users, but anyway they should add all the Eden tokens in Exodus as well. So pretty much noob version and pro version, that's all.

It's a little bit different then that. Eden is meant to be for those who wants to test the final release before It's out. It's like Bitcoin Core for example, you see RC (Release candidate) before the final version and It's not that stable, that's the same thing just to different softwares. Exodus is the stable version while Eden is for testing, and anything that you see on it, will eventually get added in Exodus as I already explained.

So Eden is just a name set for this "beta" project?

As soon as there is enough testing and the pilot run turns out to be fairly successful and bug free, there will be no such thing as Eden and every single functionality(that works, ofc) from Eden will be migrated to Exodus?

Am i getting it right or still haven't got quite everything clearly?

Thanks Omega Smiley

The version 1.34.1 is out, there are huge improvements to the fees calculation (fastest and cheapest), Civic is now supported (send/receive/exchange), addition of 30 currency pairs and other minor updates can be found here: https://www.exodus.io/releases/
Factom and Ethereum classic are currently in beta and I expect them to be added in the next updates and as for everyone who is still asking about Eden, please read this: http://support.exodus.io/article/106-is-eden-safe-to-use

Great, update, every update seems nice, they always add something new, for features and new coins.

Hope this wallet will surpass those multiwallets out there. And the developer team seems working hard on this great app.

Thanks for the update Omega.

I guess what they are trying to get at is that though eden is unsupported software as long as you are able to back up your 12 word mnemonic you really can't lose any money. Worst thing that can happen is probably a bug with loading your balances.

I'm gunna prolly just stick to the supported version of exodus, for now.

Guys is there a way to import my existing BTC keys into Exodus? I've looked into settings and couldn't find such an option.

Still no news about the 2FA implementation?  Cry

It's actually on their roadmap (planned) in addition to SegWit support and Hardware wallet support as well.

Guys is there a way to import my existing BTC keys into Exodus? I've looked into settings and couldn't find such an option.

It's not really 'import' but It's more like moving your funds from the address you have the private keys of to your Exodus address, I believe its the equivalent of "sweep" in other wallet providers. If you don't have the developer menu, you can bring it by doing: CTRL + SHIFT + D. Head then to the Menu, Developer -> Assets -> Bitcoin -> Move funds (WIF).

Thank you for your answer. I use personalized address and wanted to have the same one in Exodus too, but apparently there's no way to do that.
