What is the maturity for coins in POS I cant find the info on the site or on the first page. I would recommend the dev add more information on the front page like total amount of coins % already distributed ect.

Looking for that one too. Btw, has anyone noticed that bottom right-hand part of the windows qt which says staking/not staking? It just says "not staking because you do not have mature coins" even though I've already staked my coins twice in an hour... This may not have any effect on the staking activity of the wallet but that does say that the coding is not complete(?) so should we expect bugs...?

That is because once you stake you have to wait for the staked transactions mature then you can stake again. Its not a bug its how it works. Its a tad confusing but everything should be fine. Theres an initial stake period though when you first move coins, Im curious what that is.

Hello Smiley
I am back from the weekend and i have receive some PMs with new addresses, you will get on the shareholderslist this evening.

POS should start after your PI are 11hours in your wallet. They normally don't stake all together but in "smaller" stakes. If all your coins have been staked you have to wait for some more hours.

I totally agree that the ANN should receive some updates, same for the website Wink Updates will be comeing.

We also think that bittrex or poloniex would be a nice exchange, but i think both exchanges require BTC to be added and again, because we had no ICO we can't pay for that.

We also understand that some "unique" features are very welcome and that we didn't announce anything yet. But remember we didn't announce anything we could not do. There might be an update in the near future Wink

Also thank you again for the rasp. pi pi wallet. I will test it this evening and link it to the ANN/website Smiley Smiley Smiley

Here are some general coinspecs:

ticker: PI
reward: mathematic PI per block (8 decimals)
blocktime: 67s (calculted since launch: 90s, if this is getting "annoying" i have a clue where calculated blocktime is comeing from)
stake min time: 11h
stake % /a: 10% first year
duration of POW: about 9,87 months
duration of campaign: 6months (tomorrow 5.5 months)
premine for signature campaign: 1,254,586 PI
already payed: about 50k PI
premine PI address: 3Go2z7zz6RgV16ZF8rvEkQBPZoQ3gVDDq6

I have a question for you dev:

Sometimes my I have problems with the stakes. I don't whether it's normal or not, but out of 11 staking 2 got an error. Instead of them being confirmed it says: "Generated but not accepted". (these transactions are not even present on the explorer)
What can be the problem? Or is this completely normal?

This is perfectly normal.

"Solving" a block is a race to get there first. Two nodes might solve a block at almost the same time. Both will tell itself and the network that it solved the block and submit its block to the network. The network might receive the one block before the other one and verify and accept the one it received first. The network will reject the block it received second and when the node that solved the block second receives the rejection message the solved block in the wallet turns to "generated but not accepted". It is generally called an orphan block.

The good news is that the coin age is not reset when a block is rejected and you will find that a block of very similar reward size is solved very soon after the rejection.

The error means that your block is an orphan block and not accepted by the blockchain. I also noticed this on the master wallet and have seen it on other pos/pow coins. I think it might be related to the pos block not accepting your stake.
Thank you for explaining it Smiley

That for sure that the  bittrex and poloniex are best exchanges, and both exchanges require BTC to be added.
you can start with Nova, coinexchange and cryptopia.

Hey Dev,

Are you going to update the payout list before tomorrows payout ? I and a few other people were anxious to get on the list before the next payout Smiley thanks in advance!

Shareholderlist will be updated before the next payout tomorrow.

Looking forward to see the roadmap for PI coin.  Also, does anyone know if part of the mining reward will go to Devs for future and continuing development?  I think it would be good to incorporate into PI.

If the PI roadmap has:
1) ANON features
2) Built in Dev subsidy to continue to grow the coin and for marketing
3) A reputable exchange (in the next 6-months-to-year)

With those features, plus PoS staking and a low amount of available coins, PI will be a top contender!
Really excited about this coin...and, of course the next airdrop.

Cheers PI crew!
