Also impossible to make the bitcoin get accepted by government because the government cannot control bitcoin because it is control in demand and supply by the bitcoin user and bitcoin miners so the government will not accept a currency that they dont control they need to change almost all of the features of the bitcoin to make it accepted.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

There are many things to convince our government from our country to accept bitcoin first thing is bitcoin can help grow our economics technology now adays is upgrading so why not to accept? Here in my country they already considered bitcoin as our currency from internet and few of them are starting to use bitcoin for trading and for their own businesses.

The government must be aware about the bitcoins to accept it but not in daily transaction. That is very impossible to change the cash and use bitcoin for our daily lives. We can't easily adapt the changes if the bitcoin become our daily use. It is so easy for the government to be aware about the bitcoin because the bitcoin is already all around in the internet and most of the government in the big countries already noticed or recognized bitcoin as a good currency but just what like you said, it will be impossible for us to use bitcoin on daily basis because bitcoin has only limited supply.

The government wants to benefit from the use of bitcoin and until it sees it, then there can be no question of its adoption.

We could start a really big partition and let everyone sign it. Then give it to politicians and they might actually do it. Very small chance though.

The government wants to benefit from the use of bitcoin and until it sees it, then there can be no question of its adoption. The main question here, what's the benefits which government could gain if they're start to accept bitcoin? Bitcoin is basically volatile that if government just convert their money to bitcoin means they're risking the whole economy. There's no real benefits for the government at all as I've seen and the benefits is purely there for an individual who uses bitcoin, nothing more.

Yes, bitcoin must be adopted by all of people around the countries, it will makes governments accept bitcoin. Although i don't care about the governments accept bitcoin or not, bitcoin will be alive because of the comunity of bitcoin themselves, bitcoin is not depend on the governments like fiat currency. Bitcoin is decentralized, it doesn't needs regulator.

If it's impossible, how come Japan is accepting bitcoin as a legal payment method right now but nothing has changed with bitcoins? It's just a matter of knowing the fact that bitcoin actually gives growth to a country's economy. In third world countries, people are better off accepting works from client online instead of going to the office every single day for 9 hours. The price of bitcoin has increased this much and its the Japanese that pumped it up. Plus, if they are not going to accept a currency that they cannot control, then they shouldn't be accepting any foreign currency, which is obviously not the case in most places. Some places are just vigilant of accepting them.

For my opinion the government must know the value and can do of bitcoin . But it can't be happen. It is very impossible that the bitcoin can have a high power than cash . The government fear about the environment that we will experience if the bitcoin is accepted by the government.

The only reason that the government will not accept bitcoin is because BTC is anonymous and don't have legal information about it's holder so it is impossible for them to charge tax for all holders of BTC.

For me, to make governments accept bitcoin, it is necessary to represent the importance of bitcoin. Let us imagine, for example, you have a product for sale and you want to sell all the products that you have. You must be introduced it clearly to understand the government it. Maybe if that will happen, bitcoin would become popular to your country.

The government will only accept bitcoin if decentralization will change into centralization. Because, as long as bitcoin is decentralized it will never happen that the government of each country to control it and they haven't get any profit in it. That is not going to happen that is why I think in the future as crypto currencies become even more successful governments will try to create their own cryptos and will lie to people and say their cryptos are even better since they are backed by them, it will be a lie but the gullible people will believe it.

Now that Japan accepts bitcoin ,this move may attract more investors and businessman all over the world to implement it on their own country. Once government and business man finds a way to earn from it like putting taxes and how Japan work on it. Other government will definitely adopt once they put study on it.

i think it can be possible, nothing is impossible in this world. and it can only be possible if the number of bitcoin users will increase and they will put pressure on government and compel their government to accept bitcoin as legal currency. i this still there is time because the users of bitcoin are still very low. but hope in future the users of bitcoin will increase more and more because bitcoin s now introduced in all parts of the world.

Only for japan's government, of course, there's no point for other countries to follow what japan have done. Though japan (only) accepts bitcoin as their legal tender but it's already made a big impact towards the demands of bitcoin, it's a good thing of course. The anonymity of bitcoin itself actually not an obvious anonymous, everything can be traced once the owner of an address revealed, thus, it's actually not a threat to the government, just if they know it ofc. maybe government just consider bitcoin as a threat because it has the potential of taking over their economy and replace the current monetary system, but, who knows?.

I think hongkong and russia will follow japan's step for next year, because many retail and consortium will adopt bitcoin at the end of the year, driving force is not necessarily from the government, we all will make them believe in creative and profitable business.

I do think that for now it is still unachievable thats because there are still many things that the government think they don't just prioritize something like bitcoin for now. Due to all the problems, issues, and more thing to develop the government is not still interested on cryptocurrency but sooner or later bitcoin will be known by the government and they will make it as a payment option. As the price of the bitcoin is increasing and when they see they can earn from them they will get interest on them and start advertising bitcoin. Government is all about money the other flow of bitcoin is that right now the bitcoin price is still not constant but as soon as it will I pretty sure they will do accept it in no time.
