Wow, only 27 Sat now. Who would have believed it would ever get this low again? I think one* could make four times their money eventually, but this is not financial advice!

Indeed you can make 4x your money with Boat but you can make 4x of something like 0.1-0.2 BTC as I don't see to much liquidity into this to make 4X of 5-10 BTC for exaple. |

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

No one knows whats going on here or with the devs other project RAIN. There have been no updates in here from the dev in months now and even when he did come in here, there wasn't much of an update anyway. Boat has so much potential to be a top coin but we need a dev who is active and willing to make this great. I'm not sure if we have that here? I hope I'm wrong though as I would like to see Boat succeed. |

No one knows whats going on here or with the devs other project RAIN. There have been no updates in here from the dev in months now and even when he did come in here, there wasn't much of an update anyway. Boat has so much potential to be a top coin but we need a dev who is active and willing to make this great. I'm not sure if we have that here? I hope I'm wrong though as I would like to see Boat succeed. i would like to know if they are going to continue with this coin. ive been mining alot of them. |

That is right, Boat is just a speculation coin right now as no one knows whats going on except for the dev himself who has been MIA for the past couple of months. That is why right now Boat is a big risk in my opinion however at the same time like hammerhart said if the dev does come here with some news before the next bull run we could see Boat go up in a short period of time but again this is a risk because we don't know if the dev will ever come back. |

Yes true, Maybe if the current dev doesn't have time to work on the project, it wouldn't be a bad idea that a new dev team takes over. This project is almost 1 year old now and nothing has been done with it which is a shame as it has huge potential. 1 year in crypto is a long time and to see nothing being done is a little disappointing. There is something happening like in a social science way with crypto devs because many of them create the coin and disappear. Perhaps they are mostly young and feel like they have to be anonymous and avoid taxes and so on. The fact that this dev hasn't shown up for a while isn't any different than probably half the coins now actively traded. Both his coins, this and RAIN, are very robust and haven't had any problems syncing.

hmm wondering about the spike yesterday up to 80sats on coinexchange..then it dropped back to like 15 ...anyone check if it all went to the same balance and dev(?) is filling his pocket before he resurfaces XD

Actually Boat gets spikes like this every now and then, not sure who it is pumping the price up and then it dumps back down. The dev already should have millions of Boat as I didn't see much getting used from the dev fund as they were meant to be used to get Boat on more exchanges but nothing. Not sure what to think with Boat and Rain anymore. |

To me it seems that whoever was running the Boat Twitter account just gave up as there has been now tweets since December last year. The problem I think is that there isn't really much to tweet/update people about and that is why its now inactive. I hope we get some news from the dev soon. |
