I'm still in as well.  Waiting on info for escrow.  Will keep checking board throughout day.

Ragingazn628 should get some kickback from setting this all up.

Is there a timeline on when you plan to order?  I might be in, but have to talk to some people/get the BTC.

Avalon will sell as many 10,000 chip orders as they receive through the end of 2013 from how I read their disclaimer.  The max order of 200,000 chips seems to me to be a max singular order of 200,000 chips - there was no limit to the cart counter like there was on Avalon Batch #3 however.

That being said, that's a scary amount of hashing power that could come online by the end of the year.

Ragingazn628 have you made any progress on setting up escrow or taking payments?  Zefir claims he thinks he has almost enough to make a 2nd order.

Well the biggest pending we have is for 390BTC let's see if he is committed I'm still waiting on him to confirm in the thread at this point.

Like I said I'm up for an escrow but as someone pointed out I'm not sure how it would work in this situation since I will be ordering from Avalon using the pool's BTC.

I was wondering about that.  It'd be one thing if you had the cheddar to do it yourself, but I assume not...

I guess it will depend on the other group buy contributors to see if they want to send to you directly in lieu of escrow, or the escrow-er would have to make the purchase (which defeats the purpose)

So it comes down to whether or not the group trusts you, or if the buy should be made by a trusted member and you get credit for organizing  Smiley

I would suggest someone else facilitate the group buy if escrow is not an option. Perhaps a party more reputable that offers escrow would be willing to facilitate it for their escrow price. $80k is a pretty large incentive for "misunderstandings" to occur.

I'm willing to act as holder of coins for this transaction, or even to do shipping. I run Cryptospora.net and my identity is not hidden.

I would like to be in for 4 BTC... My maths says BTC4 = 51 chips, not including shipping and tipping.

You can see the market react to the Avalon chip sales.
It's pretty cool.

I would like to get in on a meager 2BTC of chips.   Smiley

Would I be still getting first batch as well or are we waiting to see if the 390 guy is not 'pending' any longer?
