Can I make a prediction that a few campaign's will end at the end of this week with a final payment to their signature carriers or even worse somehow 'encounter issues' that means they aren't able to complete payment this week (the big price increase would obviously have nothing to do with it Roll Eyes Wink)

Edit - Coinut have already started by the looks of it tut tut Grin

Very predictable.

That is one reason that fixed pay campaigns with an escrow help to ensure the reliability of the service as it ensures that their is a budget for that month set in advance regardless of what Bitcoin does.
And on the off chance that a campaign manager defaults someone will pay it out.

There's another issue with Coinut campaign. When I joined I thought that there are some funds escrowed with devthedev, it says so in the first post of this thread and also in campaign thread. But people are saying that's no longer the case (he probably held some funds during the initial period only).

I hope someone from default trust list will step in and leave the campaign handlers (wangxinxi + izanagi) appropriate trust feedback, if they don't handle the issue properly soon.

Edit:

OK, you guys will still paid with the old rate for the posts done in the past before I announce the new rate.

Seems you missed the bracket there. And BTW shorena wouldn't it better if the escrows' signed message post could be directly linked in the "Y" ? Participants can themselves verify fund availability without going through the whole thread for the signed address.

Good idea, it could be in the detailed section as

I don't know if this would be acceptable because Magical Dice is changing to tie posts to a certain USD price instead of bitcoin.

I can't accepted that in my overview table. It will destroy the design and make it unnecessarily wide (and it's already too wide IMO). I would go with the **, as special conditions do apply to this campaign (aka. payout pegged to USD instead of Bitcoin).

0.012 what?

BTC or USD?

1.2 USD cent for an avatar seems very low

Darn too bad there isn't a just BTC numbers option. But makes sense since the payouts are on a floating point system, to have them included in the extra info.

Hmmm, well it isn't even near how bad I thought it would be, but as the payout isn't fixed they still should be marked as **. Agreed?

I don't see why you need to have a live Bitcoin counter for that, it seems like it's quite inaccurate if it's presented and rounded like that. Just say $0.30 for staff, for instance, or 30¢, or $.30...etc. There's no problem with putting USD as an amount in the table if that's what the signature campaign pays in.

I'm dabbling in Bitcointalk again - I won't be making trades with people. If I try to trade with you, ask for a signature from my address 171717... which I have had control of since about 2015. If I can't provide it, I might have been hacked.

Well, I rather not have dollar values in my table, because we are a Bitcoin forum, not a Dollar forum. Anyway, I've created a quick StrawPoll with some possible opties. I'll use whatever gets a majority of votes.

Indeed it isn't ideal, but here it's a decision of whether to go for ideology here versus accuracy. While I understand it's a Bitcoin forum, if they aren't paying in Bitcoin...

If you really want to, it might be worth making a separate table for signature campaigns which pay out based on USD if more of them come out.

I rather have one thread to rule them all and accuracy, so if needed, I'll let go of my ideology and just add dollars to the table.
