I ran into some trouble with the fastbluff campaign which should probably be noted in the table in the OP.

For fastbluff, you have to reply to a PM to say you reenroll.  If you don't do this but continue to post with his advertizment, he won't pay you for those posts.  fastbluff and I have parted ways (less than amicably, unfortunately) over this.   If this gets added to the notes about the fastbluff campaign, it may help keep others from falling into the same trap that I did.

Stop posting false information about us. You didn't follow the policy end of the story.

For sure, what I said above is not false.  All I'm saying here is that your "policy" should be added to the OP of this thread where we keep track of information about the various campaigns.

Stop whining because you missed the reconfirmation pm. How did 99% of everyone else not have an issue, but of course there's always one that has to ruin it for everyone.

Yes it is false information, I am sorry but people like you are just trolling.

Wow, I'm not sure how this is relevant to the overview thread.  Can you try to stay on topic?

If you want continue the flame war with me, why don't we make a separate, dedicated thread so that other people don't have to deal with the anger and whatnot.  I suggest we use the "off topic" sub-forum for this.  I went ahead and got you started here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=705946.new#new

What's relevant in this thread is that you have a policy of not paying for posts unless someone does this reenroll PM and even then you don't pay for posts until you see the reenroll pm.  This is exactly what happened to me.  bitcoininformation can add a note about your campaign that you have to reenroll by PM immediately or you wont' get paid.  This will inform others of your policy.  Don't worry.  Be happy.

It's not very helpful unless you can clarify how it's false.  Also, if you could show me how it's false, it might help to resolve our disagreement here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=684966.msg7978466#msg7978466

So I think it would be very helpful if you could clarify the misunderstanding.  If you are going to pay for the posts I made before you replied to my "reenroll" message, then my starting post count would have been 195.  And I wouldn't have left your campaign with you owing me 0.006BTC (such a small amount to get so fiesty over!).

I am protecting my site, so it is on topic. Still 99% of the people in the thread were able to do it, just you couldn't. Now stop trolling and man up, that you weren't able to follow the rules.

Also bitcoininformation was able to do it Wink so he can add any notes he wants, he followed the policy.

No we are feisty because you didn't follow the policy, otherwise it would be unfair to the other people in our campaign.

Ok, so are you going to clarify what was false then?  It seems like you agree that what I said is true, but you wish that it wouldn't be put on the OP of this thread.  What's up with that?

Actually, IMHO, the fair move is to pay everyone for the all advertizing that they did for you.  Your version of fair seems to be to refuse to pay for some advertizing equally from everyone according to a "policy".  But whatever, this is moving towards stuff that should be in the flame war thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=705946.new#new).

Good luck with your business!

I'm not involved in this dispute between sed and fasbluff, but if fastbluff doesn't pay for certain posts made during the advertizing period, I think that should be noted in the description on the OP here.  From what I can tell, fastbluff isn't denying that fact, he seems to be saying that that's his policy and that sed ignored it or something.  But for our purposes here, we can just note it in the OP and move on, I think.

Bitcoininformation is on vacation apparently, so it's not likely the OP will be updated anytime soon, but I agree with you tspacepilot: it's better to err on the side of caution and inform people beforehand of what is expected of them, and what they can expect from the campaign they're joining, in order to avoid things like this in the future. So, I'd recommend that not only the information be added here, but that Fastbluff clarifies his position in the campaign's OP as well.

That seems like an awfully disproportionate response, for what I assume was a simple misunderstanding. Oh well, I guess that's why people often hire someone else to do this for them. Roll Eyes

Yah, kinda surprising.  However I suppose it reveals that there were many other issues just below the surface.  I mean, the guy was ready to drop a nuclear bomb over the fact that I wanted him to pay me for 6 posts (which I made with his signature) and he was refusing to pay.  Obviously there's more here than meets the eye.

EDIT: the site is now down too, weird.

So Fastbluff are cancelling their campaign because someone complained? Doesn't seem right.

And the Anonymity deal is closed to all but Hero Members now.

Who was running the Fastbluff campaign? Is it one of the regular campaign runners that we see around here posting under a new user name or was it a Fastbluff employee?

Hello all,

I bought myself an Internet Stick with a 1,5GB data packet, so I can come and checkout this campaign once in a while. I have removed both FXOpen and FastBluff from the list. FXOpen because they closed, FastBluff because they will be closing after this weeks payment. It sucks to see you guys go, never had any problems with them.
