Hi guys. Anything new here ? Another train is ready to leave soon ? Cause it seems so.
Please explain, help me. Why buy FTC now? what information? IF you're a member of the slack or forum, you'd know that Segwit and lightning are coming in the next year. Looking at the charts, FTC has also bottomed out. Now is the time to be accumulating. its been discussed many a times on the forum and concluded segwit would be a pointless addition to FTC  however FTC development is strong and community is still around so thats a bonus in these parts  i think FTC has a strong future. |

Yeah it has been discussed. I have my own feelings on SegWit that I posted at forum.feathercoin.com I think activating BIP 65/66 + CSV would be great for FTC. Having SegWit added with that....some people see this as good, some people see it as bad. I haven't really seen SegWit be used for anything other than cheaper transactions on the Bitcoin blockchain.... and yes, FTC currently does not have this problem of high fees and block size limit. |

Wow big price movements! A couple thoughts on why it might not be over:
For years VTC and FTC were very similar in market cap. Both big coins of the older days, FTC was the #3 coin for a long time (after Bitcoin and Litecoin). Both VTC and FTC took similar actions by creating unique algos to resist ASIC. Both coins have old and new devs working, much of the old community hanging around, stable solid operating networks.
Today VTC market cap is 200 million, FTC’s is 15 million. One big difference between them tho is that VTC is listed on Poloniex which is pretty exclusive and very high volume. BUT, VTC’s recent price skyrocketing was driven mostly by volume on Bittrex not Polo. So polo isn’t the reason for VTC’s success, its traders on trex through the giant VTC spike. Bittrex is the top spot to trade FTC these days. So all those rich traders pushing VTC are no doubt considering similar movements on FTC given the similarities in the coins.

this has potential to go beyond $1 even more.buy and hold Feathercoin got definitely the potential to rise to 1 dollar. The dev team is really active and they try right now to find a new team member for the iOS developement. I think they can reach that till the end of 2018. |
