The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I can ignore the loudmouth newbies, but where are the technical analysts?

You want some analysis? Okay.

These are chickens:

These are bears:

The bears are China and people who want to buy BTC with their savings.. so called pennies. They worked real hard to earn these.

Now they scream and yell and rawrrr that by June as the downtrend line reveals, BTC will be at lower than $200. This continues till it's -$4500.

^^^^^Thats not a joke.. really it's true. We will have Bitcoins with a big ass MINUS infront of them.

So, that aside. The chickens, so called BTC hodlers.. so called pro traders... so called smart people. Are hearing this news from those bears and change into this:

Now... the shit hits the fan. These headless chickens are panic selling. Want to know what a panic seller looks like? Here is an example:

So that basicly sums it all up for now.

In the meantime, the pro hodlers and people who believe in the technology called Bitcoin, are sitting back relaxing. ...

Wow, quality analysis.

Thank you kindly! sir.

It's madam and I was being sarcastic.
But thanks for reminding me why I had you on ignore.

My analysis aswell.

Someone forget to put a new tampon in, today. Jehesus.

Alright, old guard, we've done this all before.  Who's getting ready to increase their wealth again?

Honestly, that's sort of what's it's been like over the past 3 years.  "Thank you, I'll take that.  Okay, I'll take yours too.  Yes, thank you."  Ok, good I've quadrupled my bitcoin holdings...<waits a few months>...aaaaaand I'm rich.

Yep. Pretty much. The trick is saving enough cash to wait out the wankers.

I´m with you  Smiley 420-440$ could be reached
BTC= BIG LOVE  Kiss
chooo choooo  Cheesy

Well I have to warn you though, usually when I go long with BTC I lose, all my shorts in the last weeks have made me double my money from 4000USD to 8000USD.
Lets hope for the best  Cheesy

edit: doesn't look too good... I'm ready to return to my old shorting habits any second

Story of my BTC trading life. 20% of my shorting profits from the last 8 weeks have been burned whenever i went bullish in the last weeks.  Cheesy

In Arthur Clarke's short story the Nine Billion Names of God, a Tibetan monastery buys a computer to speed up their mission; which is to write down all the nine billion names of God (which can be generated by a simple algorithm), so that the only true purpose of mankind is fulfilled and the Universe can be shut down.

I have seen people describe mining as a "brilliant" idea.  I think it is one of the most absolutely imbecillic ideas that mankind has produced. Bitcoin is still barely being used now, and its miners already waste hundreds of exaflops and megawats to do a simple task -- maintain a bank ledger -- that could be done with a couple of PCs.  All that because, you know, you can't trust governments or bankers -- only young frappucino-slurping nerds.

However, mining does produce some tangible results: a large library of strings whose cryptographic hash begings with so many zeros. Perhaps the NSA  has got a use for those strings, in which case those megatons of coal may have been burned for a noble reason.

But, who knows, perhaps they already got all the special strings that they need, so mining has fulfilled its only true purpose; and that is why the Bitcoin Universe is being shut down?

This has to be your weakest argument yet.

We are in the process of creating a decentralized (near) global ledger to provide cryptographic proof of ownership and transfer times, and you complain about the energy usage which is a tiny fraction of what people blow out on a regular evening microwaving food, and eating it in front of their TVs? Yeah, there's got to be a better angle to criticize us.

Bray on, dino-dude. And don't feel too poorly; it's natural to fear what you don't understand.

BTW, I used that Walmart gift card and was surprised to see some of the same fruits and vegetables I normally grab (along with the same PopTarts and cheese). Granted, I'm sure the green beans and spinach are chemically saturated but I would have to guess my local grocer's produce is the same.
