I wish they would stop with this neverending chinese scam of pumping bitcoin by trying to convince us that they can subvert their government somehow. It is just going to lead to yet another delayed crash and more hurt people later.

I love those guys who told me to fuck off. What am I doing now? fucking off. I'm not buying. You pissed off one of the guys who could save you. (not really. I'd have to care)
Should I start buying yet?
Nah. I can wait.
Will I miss the bottom? Prolly. I have so much cash I don't have to care. Some trader smarter than me will catch it and "save" Bitcoin without even meaning to. The decentral bankers of Bitcoin: The bad ones pay the good ones and the good ones reduce volatility. Clearly we need more good ones and that's what I'm learning to be.
OK... GOOD bye.... Maybe you will buy back in at $700? Losing out may come when a guy get's too greedy... Losing out at cheap coins may come when you are impatient. The only thing I think I'm missing out on now is the opportunity to punish the optimistic. From an ROI perspective, it doesn't matter how many coins you buy or at what price. It only matters that you get the direction of price travel right and the amount of movement. Run along, now. Daddy's got work to do. I was fairly impressed with the seeming self-restraint of your post, until I arrived at the last line. You could NOT resist, and for some strange reasons (possibly only known to yourself - although you may NOT be able to control yourself), you had to throw in some patronizing comment. A Funny comment for highschool aged socializing, but does NOT seem to be a comment among mature and/or properly groomed adults.

It is just going to lead to yet another delayed crash and more hurt people later. Bitcoin is subversive of governments by design. Doesn't mean OKCoin is going to do it, though. Hurting people financially is sometimes the best way of teaching them. You've taught me a good lesson or two that way.

It would really be shame to cancel such gains, I'm already down lot on paper with some too early alts buys so I just have to play safe this time. If it explodes I'll make that on alts rise anyway.

Some excerpts from OP's post: "For example tomorrow I believe there is going to be a service launched that allows you to "rent" your Hard Drive space to others over the internet, and it's all validated and compensated with BTC. There are so many different applications that are going to be built on top of Bitcoin." He got this idea from Jonathan Mohan's presentation at the NYC conference. I was there and his talk was highly future oriented, none of those features are even close to implementaion. Adding to this, it does not help that we currently have fierce competition building in the space between Blockchain 2.0 (NOT BTC 2.0), Ehterium, and Mastercoin regarding multi-asset issuance (which this renting of Hard Drive space idea is based on) and the smart contract scripting language. If you want to hear more listen to the LTB episode 99. "Then you have remittance services that are being built on top, charging 3% to consumers instead of the dreaded 10% scenario." The remittance services also face a lot of competition in places where they are the most popular, like Mpesa in Africa, and India Post / Vodafone in India. "Plus (I could be mistaken) it costs each miner about $108 to line each Bitcoin. The network is fine." I have no idea how he arrived at this figure as I (and many others on the Mining section of this forum) have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to price the production cost of a Bitcoin. Personally, to me this guy just invested way more than the 10% of his total wealth into this, which should be the absolute limit for a speculative vehicle anyway, and is trying to make himself feel better. Add to the fact that he readily attends all the conferences, which are always full of positivity (not a bad thing), and you get a dangerous state of self-disillusion. So I ask you, who is jerkin whose chain?

It looks like another local bottom to cause a countertrend consolidation for a week or so and give us a break maybe. The bear market is not suddenly over because of a "recharge card" program - we've already been through this.
