One question: People said that the gox chaos was the equivalent to the Silk Road close down. But couldn't that be China as well?
-> Bitcoin needs Silk Road. Without Silk Road it will crash down. We don't like Silk Road but we like to rise prises (or rather not fall prices). It like a pact with the devil.
-> MtGox? Everyone saw the flaw with it but whales just used it.
-> China? I think not many bitcoiners like a centralized economy and strong goverment. But China has. The goverment has a lot of power and it is possible they ban Bitcoin (muuuuch more likely than western states). But hey, we don't want to decrease prices. So China is good.

But is this the value of Bitcoin? Silk Road? A shitty exchance? A country with relativly poor infrastructure, entrepeneurship and high power goverment?
Ask yourself that!

I really have no clue what will happen there, i could see it going to high 2800's, like 2850-2880, i dont see 3000 yet

Good morning guys, yesterday (today) I was up till 5:00 Europe time (GMT+2), didnt sleep the whole night, I couldnt resist watching what was happening, I had price alarms going off, they kept waking me up and I had to turn my phone off but when I woke I was a bit surprised.

I still dont know how the hell we bounced back this fast, I need to finish my cofee and smoke a couple of cigarets first. then I can read up forward  Cheesy

not sure myself.  someone posted a rumor that China are not in fact banning bitcoin.  I have no idea if true Cheesy

It doesn't matter whether it's true because it's completely irrelevant.

What the fuck is going on.

I woke up this morning, looked at bitstamp. $430?!?!? Someone please explain what happened. Bitcoin not banned anymore? Chinese pumpers? The Chaos elephant has been defeated?

China  banks will still close Bitcoin related accounts, so I really fail to see why we're pumping this shit up

Excuse me, but i still dont understand how can you predict a market that evolve based on NEWS (or chinese FUD).

I think you adapt your lines to what happened before.

TA doesnt fit our beloved and volatile BTC.

There will be a delay between the time when the coins bought on Huobi will be sold on BTC-E again. There will be a lot of chaos and drama until this process is over.

What are you on about, with $0 spread and the fact the price has moved past where you could have bought Huobi coins, just be quiet if you're gonna spout dribble.

No thank you, I have told countless times that I won't buy into the rises that are only fueled by the desperation and denial of the fools Smiley Too unstable and unpredictable to be an good gamble.

Anyway, it'll be fun to see the drama when the wave breaks. When people are genuinely surprised again on why is this happening.

That has nothing to do with your assertion that coins are being bought on Huobi and sent to BTC-e. You do realise the Chinese can withdraw their FIAT still so why would they want USD sitting in an overseas exchange.

Thats cool don't buy into the rises but you just missed out on a 20% rise whether it goes back down again or not. In fact it should be an even easier sell for you as your so sure we're doomed. By being a perma bear you missed this train .

Hmm every level up is good... but Huobi has already broken 2700 (briefly) the real resistance is at 3000. the number, and the price history.

Today, I wanna see december 20th happen all over again. could happen..... the cattle prod is hot.

China is a big, big problem. Even if we go up massively again today we simply will crash when the next China news comes out. And it will come. Another bank another rumour whatever. People will completely panic and dump like it's the first time they heard about this.
We need clear rules from China. Ban or not, i don't care, as long as it's clear. Or we will keep getting Goxxed.

a) The biggest value for bitcoin was the ability to move funds abroad to some Chinese players. Not all of this money is clean, so it's not safe to withdraw it just through your personal Chinese bank account.
b) There were plenty of western players at the Chinese markets.

It was funny yesterday, on how most were surprised to see that BTC-E price the lowest and Huobi the highest. And they really had trouble understanding the reasoning for this, while the answer is simple if you use some common sense Smiley

Missing these unstable rises is like passing the roulette table, seeing the outcome and cursing at yourself "If I only would of called red, then I would of won". Meaning that you aren't very good at gambling if you start to think like that.
