It's highly concerning that apparently Bitstamp is showing willingness to manipulate the market given the role they play., because we don't know if there is any real foul play behind the scenes. MtGox once did the same with a similar statement in a press release. I deemed them somewhat more professional than MtGox, but perhaps I was wrong. At least MtGox have stated that they would disallow their employees from insider trading, but I have not heard anything like that from Bitstamp. I agree. This is unprofessional. what is unprofessional.. the fact that China's news was used by manipulators to spread fear mongering and failed miserably? This has nothing to do with China news. It has to do with Bitstamp implying investment advice, and how that is unprofessional. In the real world, it would even be illegal. Imagine what would happen if a stock exchange started telling its customers to buy a stock. HOWS is THIS INVESTMENT ADVICE? I've heard to the moon more often as joke from bears to kid at us now .. man you guys and girls take some shit so serious while just avoiding everything else of a similar nature which is actual fraud and manipulation LOOOOL enjoy being thumb suckers. If they say "to the moon", it implies that they are very confident in an upwards price movement and that their customers should buy. Even if you think it's a joke, other people might not. In the real market, it would illegal to even make such a vague reference and you would be potentially liable if a customer were to trade based on your statements and lose. It's also simply not the way that a business should communicate. What is the with the caps, profanity, and emotions? I did not use any of that.

these are the people who didn't buy back and still wish to see 100$ Bitcoin again.... I wouldn't waste my time and argue too much with them
I was going to insinuate that but whats the point, I am not going to assume things of them. I just love the contempt for stamp while the Country of China and the circlejerk of bears pushing China Ban's boggles me. Or hey just ignore the unprofessional aspect of our current financial systems to find a fucking tweet inappropriate, following ATH in despair a little joke was perfectly timed in my opinion. And you guys bought and like it It is unprofessional and it would be same if they wrote - "we're going to crash". That's not how broker behaves and if there's more laws around Bitcoin they would be in trouble with this. it is nothing like saying "we're going to crash" or "we're not going to crash" it is a reflection of what occured...with at best a joke to rib all the sour FudBears.

It means that the coins bought on Huobi in the last rally are finnaly flowing into their exchange and that a crash is imminent.

I don't claim to be right I am just bewildered with what some people find unprofessional here.

Ok guys, speculation on when the 3rd China ban will happen ?
This is exactly like the ban from December. Mass panic, then nothing happened and we rally.

Only difference is the fact that some Chinese banks actually closed accounts.

Only difference is the fact that some Chinese banks actually closed accounts. only difference is they always planned to close those accounts, based on Dec 5 policies. They have an article of the Pres. of the PBoC saying bitcoin isn't banned on bitell.

I agree on Stamp being unprofessional there. However, in a land of FUD, insider dumps and manipulation this can be forgiven.

Well last night I got drunk and dumoed 10% of my holdings for some finances to see me through the next while.
Today I woke up sober and bought straight back in for a 2btc loss.
Was it worth it.... . yes I paid 2 btc to hedge some funds and some peace of mind

These overnight profits sometimes Bitcoin really is a get rich quick scheme. Anyway time to take the day off and enjoy the weekend. Looking back to the total lack of buy interest for 440+ coins and the grind down the last weeks, probably a good idea.

I personally have no problem with the statement posted. I am not diverting it anywhere I am making it clear you're applying double standards to which you find fraud or misrepresentation as bad. https://twitter.com/BarclaysStock/status/412652178705514496The Eurozone recovery is fragile – but it could still be enough to give profits a boost. #BarclaysSmartInvestor http://ow.ly/rNGXw So essentially had bitstamp just been coy and hidden the message in a sentence like The Bitcoin market recovers following Chinese manipulation - is this time for #tothemoon would be ok?
