moderate this thread so noone with less than 8 hours logged in can post.

But, but...

So much can happen in 8 whole hours.

Why, just yesterday Bitcoin was a thriving protocol with a rosy future. Today it's officially done, failed, kaput, on its way to oblivion.

Can we get a forum option of auto-ignoring people with <10 posts? That would be sweet

BitPay/Coinbase for online gambling? Do you know what they do?
Sorry, I don't gamble so I don't know how online gambling sites work.  You mean that they only take bitcoins, is that correct?

Where is the facepalm icon? I swear I've seen one around somewhere.

Google BitPay and Coinbase then.  Cheesy
I have browsed through their sites, what are you referring to specifically?

(Sorry for the stupid question about gambling.  But, on that topic, is there any estimate on how much BTC transaction volume is due to gambling?)

Things are looking up a bit now but not going to get involved again until I see how the Chinese react over night.
Liquidated all of my Bitcoin at $560, now just waiting to buy back in.

Today doesn't feel like day trading, it feels like potential damage limitation, my Bitcoin were practically free, but I still feel like I'd have a severe case of remorse if it dropped further and I hadn't sold.

So potential for more downward movement is exhausted at all and the old mantra of: "There is only one direction: up" is starting again?

Why it this happening?  Huh Huh Huh

Turns out the president of Bitcoin is Mark Karpeles, did you not read the news?

Seriously, I think a few reasons:

Probably bored market, everyone's holding off for the ETF's etc so very little movement as everyone sits and waits waiting to see what happens there.

Summer holidays

Ethreum sell off

Bit of manipulation from larger holders

People just getting bored of things happening and wanting to get out
