And breaking news-  Ebay subsidiary discussing accepting Bitcoin.

Could it be that someone knew this was going to be announced and was playing with the price a bit to get some cheap coins?  I often wonder about these things.

http://newsbtc.com/2014/08/14/ebay-subsidiary-braintree-said-discussing-accepting-bitcoin-payments/

Oooh interesting find.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

ouch @adam

never go all in!

These drops are so much more "bear"able (lol) if you always have a little fiat on the sidelines.

Bitfinex has an option to create hidden orders for 100+ BTC which makes em not appear in the orderbook.

i did that for a long time...

then i throw the last remaining fiat in, not much higher than here ( i did get the bid filled on a low, it just went lower... )

I think i did good.

Soon price will go up, yes yes yes

up Up UP! Very soon!

I reallly like this GIF, eveyone who is holding coins just hoping this price will going up soon.

i'm not just hodling i'm buying too... I went all in a few days ago.

such pain!

Mostly people here felt that pain who bought around 550 level.
I am also buying but not so much, just 1-2 coins. Don't want again on same position when price will drop down more.

One of the titans must fall this year: ebay, facebook, amazon, google.

I hope it's this year. If it's not, it's next year, unless it's not.

iv been all in since February bar being out for a few serious down days, not in btc but other assets/currencies mostly nxt nem and nxt assets and have actually done really well so its not the worst strategy.. i dont think i could have made nearly as much from day trading (im crap at it) lol  my btc holdings(if i was to convert back to btc) have gone up 18 fold in that time.. with the assets and nxt rising during this current fall of btc, it really doesnt bother me that im all in the hole way down this fall.

facebook and google do not really offer much in the way of services to common people, at least not one where you'd need to make a transaction.

amazon has shown little interest in accepting bitcoin, and ebay would be competing against itself (paypal).

I feel like I've reached a new level of bitcoin awareness. Screw guys like Risto, they don't know what they're talking about. Here's the real deal: We had a slight rebound from ~$500, but once again, it was on low volume. Do we really need to debate  what that means?

Unless Warren Buffet decides to invest suddenly, we are going down again. 100% certain.

The only thing 100% certain is that you can be relied upon to talk your book in every single one of your very numerous posts on btc.

amazon is seriously retarded.

they operate a very low margin business, have known about bitcoin for a long time, and still don't accept bitcoin, do they not understand the benefits, are they retarded?

yes, yes they are

retarded!
