i make up my mind months in adv and start trading in or out of a position, based on my assumption i made months ago.

It's kind of amusing that so many of you have ignored me and I advised you to buy PPC 4 days ago.
I still advise you to do it, because the run isn't over.. but.. who will listen anyway?

Traders are only using PPC as a temp safe haven.  They don't really care about the coin.  The $$$ will start fleeing back to btc once the bubble pops.

Clearly we have different understanding of the potential that PPC has with NuBits and 0.5. I personally saw this coming a couple of months ago. I expected the start of the rise to be a little slower though.
Safe haven for cryptos has always been $, that is warm, fuzzy and mainly safe. And even if you were right, you still would have to be dim witted for not using the so called safe haven.
Anyway, I think that the majority of this crowd is too religious for any hope of common sense.

The thing that pisses me off is that I initially sold atleast 50% of my stash at 520 to make sure I wouldn't get underwater but then I for some fucking reason decided to buy back at 520, where it topped and it immidately went back down after that.

I could be in a so much better condition :S

I used to be convinced of that. But imo it should already have happened. People here seem to think Bitcoin can just go down and down and then magically go up again. Yes this happened a few times times but one day it will stop. Now was the time for it to get big. To go up. Instead everybody seems to be cashing out and scaring away new people. It's doing the opposite of what it should do.
I'm not sure if we will get yet another chance. I think this was it and it failed.

Sure there are many strategies, but if you're sure that the price will drop, and you want to make money instead of losing it, the only correct one is sell.
