Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Bitshares posts are being censored on this board means it is direct competition. Bullish btsx
2billion "bitshares" losing value, bullish for BTC

What the hockey sticks is a bitshare Huh  Man I am so n00b

some digital asset priced in BTC

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXW8a0OqyCM

the hyped version:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaY_KIsouTY

its all very complex

i wanted to buy some back when I first heard about it, as a speculative play, but it wasn't treaded on cryptsy

Ah. I was interested in Counterparty and Ripple before I cared about things like price and such. Maybe this dump is good for me. I'm more zen now:P

I'm surprised you still use cryptsy; I thought it had become even more shady.

Poloniex is the place to be for alts -- even risto and aminorex grace the trollbox (which may or not be a positive thing depending on your outlook).

I have no idea how BTCshares work but they cost next to nothing and bounce around like like a pole-dancer.  What's not to like?

BTCshares are a way to buy Bitcoin with existing conservative banking methods.

I'm now looking at other threads on this board... man, I thought I was a perma-bull but at least with some "common sense".... now starting to realize that common sense has completely left this sub forum, and other perma-bulls will keep drinking the koolaid all the way down until bitcoin hits some obscenely low price.  It's getting pretty sad now, all people have left to say is "Just wait for the bounce!" and "Any time now, you'll see!"  Yeah, been waiting.

No I will not sell my holdings in a down market, that would just be stupid.  I waited too long to do that now.  They're going to cold storage.  But now I'm sitting this completely out, watching the remaining circus unfold.

Will probably leave this sub forum for a couple months.  I'm sure I'll come back here and the perma-bulls @ $100 will still be going "Just wait for the bounce!  Any day now, you'll see!"

Disclaimer: I still strongly believe in Bitcoin's future.  Just can't believe the silliness in the market that I'm seeing right now.  It's destroying market confidence.

Legality is a big block but since there is no fiat involved should be ok... Other than that nothing to be worried about long term. Once it gets going price feeds can be removed and then we have first true decentralized marketplace in the world

Do you know how much money you can make by shorting BTC from 380 to 100 USD ? Just go to bitfinex and send your BTC to take your position.

Didn't experience anything like that.. But their orderbook is acting weird.. When I click it, it's not showing the updated data so I need reload the page to refresh it.

No one? Try clicking the "order book" button on BFX. What happens?

 Undecided

Nothing strange here, looks like business as usual. I even logout and re-login but still can't reproduce what you and others reported.

Appreciate it guys. Anyone else in here, please let us know what happens when you click the "order book" button. Does everything seem normal? Do your username and balance show properly?

To recreate the bug, you may have to have BFX open in one tab, then open the order book in a new tab.
