I wonder what the total number of BTC bought/sold today is. I bet it's really low.
Coinmarketcap shows the 24 hour volume as $14,116,400 which is roughly 44343 bitcoins. It shows OkCoin is the top volume exchange today, probably because the Chinese don't do Christmas. On new years day it will probably be a low volume exchange. ....and because chinese are faking the volume

This xmas I didn't give any actual presents.
What I did give them was a three hour presentation on crypto...
Just giving them nothing wasn't cruel enough, you actually sat them down for a 3-hour lecture on why they got nothing? Bro, even I wouldn't do that, that's just low.

How does this rank against an average day? You can see a 180 day chart below. Today was fairly low, but early December was even lower volume.

This xmas I didn't give any actual presents.
What I did give my family was a three hour presentation on crypto. After that I hosted/ insisted on a four hour discussion on what they learnt. To round off the day I forced them to do coding until bed time to relax.
I think they all had a lot of fun. Or I did. I have a full menu of extra reeducation for tomorrow.
Were they not allowed to watch the TV at all, or have you already sold it to buy bitcoins?

A few months ago I saw somebody being surprised why the price did not move after the final episode of game of thrones. Maybe Christmas has got more correlation? Edit: here it is: I was thinking that the Game of thrones finale would trigger a massive buying spree.

Well, that's goddamn retarded since it's a fact it will be worth 10x more in a few years.
It will be worth much more than 10x. But in my country you can't buy food or fuel with bitcoin (or any other country), so for now people need to use fiat so they can survive. Or they can invest all in bitcoin and die hungry waiting for rise. (as you suggest)

Well done traders. The last rally of the year, the last chance to make something positive out of a horrible 12 months and you killed it once again. Once again you dumped straight in the faces of the new buyers and scared them away. Most likely for good. But fuck all that right when you can make 50 bucks.
Well done and thanks from the people who do care for this awesome year of destroying the greatest tech invention we've seen in a long time.
For some reason, this never gets old/boring. I will never put you on ignore I'm constantly tempted to put him on ignore. ShroomsKit is so stupid, he can't seem to grasp the simplest concepts of trading. He still thinks people are shorting to gain some small US$ amount, and all that after numerous attempts to customize explanations appropriate to his intelligence level. I wonder how he managed to pass through school.

...Good game bears. Good luck when real people return! Do you even know the real tragedy of being a bull? 1/5th of you is killed off at birth--you're useless even as beefs "UK - About 100,000 dairy calves were killed last year just because they were the ‘wrong sex’, new figures have revealed." - See more at: http://www.thedairysite.com/news/38633/fifth-of-dairy-bull-calves-still-killed-on-farm#sthash.YmqNzEYC.dpufP.S: This is how Bitcoin will end, you know. Not some awesome demise in a battle against real money, but slow, soiled-diaper death in some obscure nursing home
