Hey Tera
Remind me, what was the bottom before that rally?
It was $2. $265/$2 = 132.5 $17171 / $152.4 = 112.6 Almost there Fair enough. If we assume that the top is in and extrapolate the subsequent low as 35x the start price (same ratio of $2 -> $70), then that gives us 35 x 112.6 = $3941. That is still a healthy price and any long term hodlers would be well in profit. My original strategy actually assumed this sort of outcome as it allowed me a further period to accumulate before a subsequent lift. However this time something seems to have snapped. I am seeing people all around me buying bitcoin. And they are also going into it with a long term mentality. So I think the above model is highly unlikely. But if we did, I would be completely comfortable with it.

That is society's way of trying to knock through the skull of these so-called 'geniuses' that their calling holds no value. What clearer signal could there be?
Hate to be debbie downer, but that's just the reality of the situation.
There may be no clearer sign that society has misplaced its own values. Perhaps it may one day come to its senses?

pics Ibian pics https://ibb.co/kQfoNwhttps://ibb.co/eWG69bhttps://ibb.co/eBqipbThat's what I have so far as pictures. It should be ready to hit the water this spring, gonna toot around on my first boat until it's ready. And when it is, taking a trip from Denmark down through europe. It's essentially two big rooms, one of them a bunk twice as big as normal for boats that size and the other everything else. Has a toilet as well for when you want to float somewhere for a few days. And will have more electricity than I could possibly use in a week, including a 2000W inverter for a small oven and whatever else I might want to plug in.

I have been shopping for a motley 11m sailboat to spend a summer on the Med, living cheaply by anchoring and whatnot. When you say trip down through europe, are you going to traverse Europe by river?? That would be cool (Rhine->Danube)

Well my starter boat just had a battery for the engine and a single 120 ah battery for everything else. Enough for a few days out, more if you run the engine some of the time for recharge, but a few days is about the limit. The new one will have, depending on room and such, 3-5 batteries plus the engine battery. Enough for maybe a week, and with the engine recharging everything whenever I'm on the move should be more than enough to cover any reasonable needs.

We are looking for a small boat to use intra city. (If you want to visit Ghent Be, be welcome, you can anchor at our place right in the city centre).

That would be cool (Rhine->Danube) I like the idea of the wide open sea, but too much choppynes gets old right quick, and my old man keeps insisting a river tour is the way to go. And maybe it is. Still deciding.

Still deciding. I am young and yearn for adventure on the sea. After, I assume that a river tour would be much appreciated. Cheaper docking fees, less tourists, stop in at a cozy tavern, sounds lovely
