Looking fairly comfortable at the moment

Looks like a new floor will be forming around 18k. For this bitcoin will need to sideline.

The meme and word "HODL" came from a misspelling of "hold" posted in a whiskey fueled rant four years ago this month in 2013 on BitcoinTalk. Sellers were panic selling as the market crashed from $900 to $700. HODL was good advice.

I was on that night, GameKyuubi was hilarious.

I keep that thread "marked as unread" so I can go back anytime and laugh my ass off all over again.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

After last might's excitement we seem to be consolidating between $16k and $16.5k. Didn't quite make a new ATH... currently $16470USD/$21170CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Alts also up... old coins are worth $18143USD/$23320CAD each (Coinmarketcap).

First futures trading is in the books, a couple more exchanges to go. Things are looking good.

Go Bitcoin go.

I'm reading Snow Crash right now.

careful

Snow Crash is like a gateway drug, soon the weighty tomes will be piling up.

As well as with anything by William Gibson. Starting with Neuromancer.

And if you really want your mind == blown, try getting through Steve Aylett's Shamanspace. I dare ya. Double dare ya to read it while high.  Grin

Don't overlook the gem of Gaea Trilogy by John Varley.

Don't know where you are looking but it's again in a down move (-700 eur) since about 10 hours after recovering the dip.

Further, I don't like the look of this slow round off one bit...looks like exhaustion.

A couple of days ago there were bearish threads being created, the usual suspects predicting epic crashes.
For some reason they’ve all gone very, very quiet.

What's with all the traders and analysts who draw little charts to micro analyze and make a big deal about 5% movements in a market that moves 1000% every year. Like "we must have dropped that 5% on extremely bearish news and fed rate changes but if we get past the delta quadroid support and resistance at 16000 the big news and instutional money will take us to huge profits at 16400 where we can sell"... Ummm ok

I'm certainly paying attention.

Saw a 67 coin ask pulled at 16450 and waiting to see what happens to the 50 coins at 16451.
