Volatility is back to the lows again. I was expecting a "big move" sub 2% on 30-day volatility average a couple of weeks ago, now I'm starting to think we can go sub 1% like in 2018:

Either way, when the move happens, it's likely to be bigger the further the volatility drops. Just like in April 2019 and November 2018.

whats up with the mempool??

Hashrate @ath and still we are congesting?

Hashrate has nothing to do with how quickly we clear the mempool.

Well, I suppose if the recent difficulty adjustment was higher than today's current hashrate we could see block times slow down just a little... but that's also normal.

Difficulty is a tad too high, block times remain wonky. Somebody sent me a 4 sat/byte tx 2 days ago and it still hasn't confirmed :/

Is 4 sat per byte too low to run through Via Bitcoin free transaction accelerator?

There has been 11 blocks found in the last hour so that seems pretty quick to me since there should be 6 blocks per hour on average.
1 every ten minutes ideally.

I did that earlier today, about 10 hours ago, still nothing... I suppose it will come through eventually. Not too much money so I'm not entirely worried about it.

At a glance they all look full.  We just have a good backlog currently.

Yeah they are full and still have another 23 lined up in a backlog. Just stating that the mining of blocks is happening pretty quickly (faster than 1 every ten minutes). I suppose there are more transactions occurring than can be mined in that time.

The margin call on this leverage might not be worth it...

Too greedy.
If he just got the loan, then hired a few people and waited a few months no charges would have probably ensued, but now he is busted.
In fact, I bet that a significant %% of PPP loanees did just that (shady accounting) and kept the money.

Well i didn't say shoot him, if he knew about coinbase and still used them, then it should be an automatic death sentence. As far as 5 wires, would make sense to limit 3rd party exposure, but looks like he kept the coins on coinbase so yeah, jail him
