In my family, we weren't allowed to leave the table until we finished all the food on our plate no matter how unpalatable it may have seemed.  This is why I learned to cook at a very early age.

It's a good practise and must not be limited to home meals but to resturants also where there is an offer on food like eat all you can from 3 to 5pm in just 20 bucks. It's sad to see so much food getting wasted in resturants which can feed so many mouths.

Same here, and I try to stick to this practice. Even in restaurants, I tend to avoid ordering too much. If I need more, I can order again later. Not a money issue, but a food wastage issue.

Also, in my family we always ate together at the dinner table. No TV dinners and eating separately in the house. Family meant something those days...

Adults can give up electronic gadgets but real test is to take these gadgets from kids, who don't eat until they are given these gadgets.

We had more votes than any sitting president in history, and yet they want us to believe that Joe Biden, who campaigned from his basement, got more votes than Barack Obama? Give me a break.
