VAR and the useless referee ruined that match. Could have had extra time. England possibly still would have won. Seemed the stronger side. But just too much interference I thought. Again Netherlands were denied a corner just before the opposition scored. Very reminiscent of 2010.  |

Will be late matches over here in 2026 in the old world I guess with the time difference, though I think they make some adjustment. VAR seemed to have been against The Netherlands when possible during the entire tournament. Still, the Dutch did well and no one can say both the Dutch and the English didn't try this evening. Even Harry Kane ran a bit. |

"Even by desert standards, the prolonged baking that Nevada’s largest city is experiencing is nearly unprecedented, with forecasters calling it “the most extreme heat wave” since the National Weather Service began keeping records in Las Vegas in 1937." All info above is from the link. I was in Vegas in 1979 and the outdoor pool had a meter reading 117 f. which at the time was the record. but its a dry heat.  |
