We didn't fall below 300 though like all the deluded bears/trolls were predicting over Xmas.
Wishful-thinking pipe dreams are common among beartards. Let them keep dreaming of cheaper coins, or if they have a outside agenda, the death of Bitcoin. they strong enough to keep the price away from take off!Let's see them in action when we get more adoption over time or an approved Winklevoss ETF. We are relaxed, no big positive news for ages & they still can't take us sub 300.

Ah, now I see The site could not find any "sibling" connection to other addresses, so it assigned it to a wallet of its own, that it calls "[b8a9acbcdd]". That address received two deposits of 0.001 BTC by the same transaction http://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/11dae7a65b8503ad866b1a0be710d9b5a77f428191f79d36cc206c2b5363b01fNothing was ever withdrawn from that 1Fdw address. That transaction had a single input of 0.20 BTC from address 12edRmh8qvaXuMwSLjpgbxMAaptCb5dHQt, and zillions of outputs, including the two above. It is this 12ed address, not the 1Fdw one, that was assigned to the wallet that the site called "MtGOXAndOthers". Thanks for clearing up. Might use the site in the future more frequently

I've not been following Paycoin, but someone said the ICO made more than Ethereum. Is this correct, and can the dev dump the ICO bitcoins yet?

They all come back to roost soon. Many alts will die in a major black swan panic event. Wonder what the price will do when everybody rushes back to good ol' bitcorn.

Majority of the people doing alts are getting rich quick people. There will be a moment when the majority figures out that 99% of alts are a scam. Then they have only one option, and that is good ol' bitcorn. For many bitcoin is too expensive, they think.

where there's money there's criminals ... same as it ever was. Wall st. is chock full of fraudsters, all the way to the top. bitcoin gives you the power the take control back out of the criminals hands, its doesn't absolve you from idiotic thought or responsibility, unlike fiat.

Maybe there could be another month or two of this boring BTC prices in the lower $300s, possibly dipping into the upper $200s, yet at some point, maybe in 6 months or so, we could get some meaningful price movement in the upward direction - when I say meaningful, I am considering price movements into the upper $500s and greater and even the potential for shooting past the previous ATH into the $3k to $9k territory, or possibly greater than that.
You're in for a rough year. To even contemplate that as being realistic is so remote from reality that you honestly need to talk to someone. Any substantial arguments to back up those numbers? I don't need to back up my numbers b/c they are totally within reason, and why did you remove the link to the original post that you are quoting. IN the above quote, I am speculating within reason and within the realm of realistic possibilities within the coming year or two years within the speculation thread, and there has been a lot of positive investments and positive development in the BTC space, especially in the last year, which would allow for further investment into BTC, which could cause the pushing up of BTC price - even as soon as within the next year, and to increase BTC's marketcap in order to allow for larger players to be able more easily move around larger quantities of the fiat equivalent within BTC without causing as much price volatility. Edit: Here's the link to my original post from which you quoted: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg10014836#msg10014836
