The feds will have another auction of ~100k BTC soon, right? Maybe Draper will have the guts to average down that time, but judging from his cowardly behaviour at the second (most recent) auction, it's doubtful.

yes i'd like to know too. 6 years after bitcoin didn't evolve a bit, mainstream adoption is failing etc...the infancy phase excuse is becoming more and more dull.

6 years from now the same people will be saying the same thing: Bitcoin is still new. Patience my friend. We need to shake out the weak hands first. Wallstreet is dying to get in at the right price. Just buy and hodl.  Secret forces are accumulating. Big money is gobbling up all these cheap coins.

Bitcoin is worth 10 dollars at that point.

Oh the irony: The USMS had the right to auction all 144'000 BTC back in 2014-12-04, when the price was ~375 $; but they choose to sell only 50'000 and postpone the sale of  the rest, because they did not want to depress the price.
