There's something fishy happening on BFX, bids are slightly higher than asks, maybe it's a bot that tries to hold the price up?
Manipulation, to fool bidders and then dump hard, this shouldn't be allowed. (BTW, I'm still short) LOL!!! What phase are we in when even bears are offended by the dumps? I'm not complaining about dumps, but about order book manipulation (with a bot?), although it has served me well, I closed my short at 229$. Still...

I'm a pro BTC HODLER but I really am beginning to fear for the future of bitcoin. I'm certainly not going to buy any more unless we go really low.
Brave man. Why don't you go 75% fiat for a while? You're 100% BTC right now??? What is your trading strategy? Do you even have an investment/trading strategy? This shock started in China about 12 hours ago. Europe is now well woken up and the tone for the day is, well, carnage.

A piece of advice:
Relax and grab some popcorn. If you feel anxious, get away from your computer and don't check the price. Comments from the trolls here won't help either. I want to see where LambTroll & Sisters will be when the price will start violently going North again. Ah, yeah. They will be selling YOUR coins which you're desperately selling right now. It has happened 2-3 times since 2011. It will happen again.
This thing is annoyingly repetitive. HODL people. Hold and relax.

So depressing.
I cannot see it supporting $100, let alone $200. By close of business Friday, lots of folks will be reaching for the whisky.

So what did you say was the bottom line, at which people will switch off their miners and the whole network will collapse?=)
i say 150... dont worry ill just mine with my computer i got this Nope. I've been saying since a few months ago, I'll buy Bitcoin under 100 and I'll get them for under 100. What if it drops below $10? Massive suicides... A lot of companies inverted MILLONS in hardware for mining bitcoin or providing services with it. This could really be true. I could see hanging myself if the btc went under forever :/ whoa, whoa, whoa, it's just money man. Not to me friend. Its my everything. Of coarse I don't believe it will ever go that low in price and any true capitulation would ever happen. Don't really want to think about it, but I know I am not alone in my thoughts.

There is still money to be made. Bitcoin won't die.

I was advised by a very wealthy client 18 months ago to invest in bitcoin & leave it for 10 years. I've nowhere near 100% equity in bitcoin but I have invested a lot & these are bad times for the world of bitcoin. I'm not going to bullshit people & say I'm not worried because I am.

paradoxal thing is that people acting as the good guys saying "no worry, relax and hodl" since 900 don't really helped after all. must be insiders/nsa infiltrating and manipulating naïve minds from the beginning and we just didn't see it

There is still money to be made. Bitcoin won't die. I am going to ride it out no matter what. I cannot afford to bail out here. Now of coarse again, I don't believe bitcoin is able to die. So these horridly depressing ideas don't even need to be there. I think about my close whale friend. If BTC went under he would be in a worse position then myself. He singlehandedly convinced not only his company, but his whole family to go in a major way. I am hopeful. I know the bitcoin will rebound. If not now eventually.

Why would people sell now, the price is so low? Why would you sell on the way down? Some people have no balls.
