Not everything is a conspiracy

I think I heard someone whisper that to somebody once.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Well, someone wants to hold under 300.. What's with all the walls everywhere?

Or they know a breakout results in their asks being eaten in full, so walls at critical values are logical..

Not everything is a conspiracy

PS: preliminary support
SC: selling climax
AR: automatic reaction
SC: secondary test
LPS: last point of supply
SOS: sign of strength

Richard Wyckoff wrote numerous times about the power of rising bottoms in a trading range. The story goes that the "composite man" (or the sum action of all professional interests in the stock) begins accumulating after the SC but is willing to play both sides of the market in order to amass an increasing line of stock from the weak hands. As the range plays out, there is decreasing available supply of stock to propel the price downwards, resulting in rising bottoms. Once the supply is dried up, the price will break out of the range and a markup campaign begins, led by the composite man.

^That makes perfect sense to me.^

Will be fun to see how this plays out.

*personally hoping for very slow rise so as to avoid another massive arms race in the mining world, but I really don't see any way around it.

the risk of being negatively affected materially with bitcoin is rising continuously but the opportunity cost isn't, you are better off buying now than staying out, unfortunate for the bears and haters but mathematically true. Whether you like it or not, whether you own bitcoins or not, everybody now has a stake in the bitcoin economy. Just the fact that others are participating in a bitcoin economy is now beginning to affect you, maybe only infinitesimally at first but as it grows the collective effect will grow to affect you personally materially.

Nobody any longer is either in or out of bitcoin. We are now all "in this together". Smiley

You need to move first, take control of your destiny, get involved at your own pace, in your own way and try not to get swept away by the coming tide. Assuming the growth continues at the current steady, or previously frenetic, rates.

$21,075,000 current USD swap, $294 bitfinex BTC price

$14,664,000 Jan 14-15 Panic USD swaps, $166

$6,411,000 increase at a simple avg of$230 = 27,873 BTC

15,678 current BTC swap

26,954 Jan 14-15 Panic BTC swaps

11,276 BTC decrease, at $230, $2,593,480

There is obviously a bias towards going long, but this shouldn't be too surprising as it's taking place on a BTC exchange. I'm glad interest rates are putting a heavy cost on the gamblers at these levels.
