There are things about this I can appreciate if I try hard. You want a gun, make one yourself. And history is clearly driving in that direction. But hypothetically, what amount of guns would have been enough to stop what happened in Orlando?

We shouldn't nerf the world. Like Marcus and BitUsher have said (shudders)... an unarmed populace is akin to a herd of cattle.

I heard a story once about how the German army would customarily steal cattle from local farmers to feed troops, and how incidences of cancer were significantly lower in those areas after the war. I was never sure what to make of that story until right now.

NB. The Nazi's cured cancer. True fact.

Fortunately , some of my comrades are helping swing these number up by selling thousands of "gun factories"
which make it impossible to really know how many unserialized AR15s are in texas and worldwide.

Great company and people(and they sometimes depend upon bitcoin because constantly have merchant processing problems) -

Will the cops bother you if you use these lowers in a public shooting range? I understand it is legal to make your firearms as long as you don't sell them, but I've always wondered what the practical issues are related to possessing a gun with no serial number.

Its fine at ranges. Just cannot resell these.

But hypothetically, what amount of guns would have been enough to stop what happened in Orlando?

Impossible to prevent knife or gun murder , and obviously you dont want a bunch of drunk bar patrons armed either , but 1-2 armed and trained security guards could have brought down the 50 murdered/50 injured rate down to 5 -10 murdered / 5-10 injured ... gun free zones are the most dangerous and where almost all these mass shootings occur. Gun regulation doesn't stop them either -- France.

Is it just me or does it look like it's gonna retrace downwards to about 630 first before continuing up?

Right, so since we're on topic how many gun related deaths happen in US and how many in France?

It's hard to argue with a gun culture stretching back to the wild west. The new world is hairy. But I don't really approve of this.  Embarrassed

Banning cars could markedly reduce the incidence of death by vehicle. But beware, someone might still be able to buy a multi-tonne missile (car) on the black market tho.

It's important to remember that this vote is not binding, it's basically nothing more than guidance.

Great Britain is still a member of the EU and the process of actually leaving will involve much bureaucracy.

Nothing has changed yet, and if I were to don my tinfoil hat, I would expect that many people who have a vested interest in supporting the EU would conspire to use this excuse to greatly harm both the exchange rate of the pound and also cause havok in global markets to sow the seed of doubt. The margin was extremely thin and I would expect they will first impose as much hardship as possible and then call for a re-vote.

I think this is far from over. </tinfoil>

I thought the powers that be were meant to rig the election? Did they fall into a drunk stupor and forget their duty? The fact is, there is little stomach for averting this course, and little chance of closing the fissure.

That fissure was less than a 4 % margin. Their currency dropped by 10 % in the first day. How much stomach will they have if it drops another ten percent?

I don't know what's going to happen, but I would be surprised if *they* let Britain leave without a fight.

(Edit for clarity: *they* are anyone that benefits from a centralized control of Europe and a desire to extend that control through greater globalization to eventually encapsulate the world)
