An absurdly early good morning Bitcoinland. I don't usually wake up at farmers' hours but I have to go for minor surgery at 10:15AM. I hate alarm clocks.
I see we crept a little further up overnight... currently $1171USD (Bitcoinaverage).
I like how the has been going lately, up a step, back a bit less, up some more, back a wee, rinse and repeat.
It's been almost 2 weeks since March 25 when it hit rock bottom (our only full day under $1000 in over 2 months) and it's been creeping up at a nice rate ever since.
Hopefully breaking past $1200 won't take too many more days. Slow and steady wins the race.
Go Bitcoin go.

I sent a transaction 10 hours ago with average fee and for now i have 0 conformations. For now Bitcoin is like the best racing car in the world with gasoline mixed with water in the tank. |

Thanx Edgar. I'm already back home. It was no big thing, just a surface debridement to remove necrotic tissue from an infected shin wound and improve healing. I sometimes forget I'm almost 70 and should probably slow down my rough-and-tumble sex& drugsherbs&rock&roll lifestyle. It's just that I'm having way too much fun for that.  Is Bitcoin still broken?

I sent 4 transactions the other day with the minimum fee. First went through within the hour, the other three I kept checking before I finally went to sleep. Woke up and they still had 0 confirmations. Came home from work and finally they had started going through. I wasn't in any rush really, moving bitcoins to cold storage. But as someone who likes spending my bitcoins at places and for a lot of things, I hope things get better. Though, worst case scenario is that people stop moving bitcoins...which clears up transactions allowing people to move bitcoins...and then they stop moving bitcoins...etc... |

Actually the charges are because electricity stealing and an unexplained "cyber fraud". The situation in Venezuela is result of "easy life" the ordinary latin americans generally look for. Here in Brasil the same thing risked to happen four elections in a row when people chose the labor party commanded by Lula and Dilma. The difference is that the entrepreneur class is stronger within politics and Dilma was impeached before things could get out of control, but we were toward the same direction. Still our economy has not recovered from 13 years under labor party rules. Leftists find uneducated people struggling to survive and desperate to get rid from the same entrepreneur class that saved the economy but usually enslaves the population. So promises of easy state-controlled life is happily swallowed and people elects left parties. Venezuela decline started with Hugo Chavez, and now democracy is gone and no hope is left for that population. |
