They are making a move for control and i am surprised people are just dismissing this so lightly. There are millions of $ changing hands here (over $3 billion volume). What happens if mining BCH is 2X or more profitable than BTC and the other miners jump ship on mass? .
Im getting really tired of bitcoin as a whole. Never ending drama which will imo eventually kill it.

The original economic code that led to Bitcoin's great success is alive and well in the form of #BitcoinCash. Watch what happens next:

If a small group can affect the bitcoin market like this, what chance has it long term against bigger players?

Bitcoin is still going strong. I am buying some stuff from Amazon right now.

The price is down a couple percent from this morning but still a pretty decent price. The only thing bcash accomplished today was holding off another bitcoin ATH this weekend.

Ever thought that's exactly how They want you to feel?

The Bitcoin market is still laughably thin. Anyone with the means can fully fuck with it.

Unless humans can be removed from it, I don't think it's going to end up how it was originally planned to be.

I don 't believe this is actions by individuals. This is the PBOC moving China from BTC to BCH. Thru the actions of what seems to be individuals.

As a bothhodler for me it's like if BTC was over 4000€ now.

"economic code" what is that ?

I guess BTC can always change the difficulty adjustment to counter, that way if miners migrate en masse BTC difficulty goes down quickly, miners come back, etc.

Still it's messy.

it's definitely not that easy for BTC to implement diff adjustments so quickly
so it may end up with high diff and low mining power ... then btc is screwed

The only thing happening right now is that all of those people that wanted to cash their bcash for bitcoins already went through all of the trouble to do so. Now Ver and Wu are pumping their own bitcoins into bcash (I have seen the 500+ BTC buys pushing the price up on finex) and they are met with little resistance because nobody with bcash is there waiting to push the price back down.

Once the price motivates enough people to install the wallet and get their bcash to the exchange, the bcash price will crash.

Let us not forget BTC was around $600.00 last year at this time. Who's complaining. lol

Also, if BCC becomes a real and lasting player, then diversify and pick some up as you might would with any other Alt coin.

Miners will point their Sha-256 machines to what ever coin is paying the most per hour. Sooner or later things will plane out.

Yup. If they reach parity they'll both be worth about $100.
