Nice dump!! not totally unexpected.

If we are going to bounce sooner rather than later then I will go with 07/11/2017 ATH

I am remaining optimistic for now ^^ (I would be a tad less so if we break $2750 convincingly with force) then I think recovery could be slower... though still not a real dent on long term curve.

Soon as the PBOC shed some more  light- and it is ingested by the market... we will move back up IMO

I still feel like we are being trolled by the PBOC   (before their "Taa-Daa!! moment)

Chose 30th Nov because it's ~2 weeks after the NYA 2x hard fork is due. Either it won't happen, or if it does it'll be a total non-event. Nervy traders relax and buy in against Dimon's wishes.
Also gives us 5 weeks to clear the commie Chinese congress and get back to rumours of re-openings and regulations there (which weirdly traders will think is a good idea).
We need time too for Jihan and Roger pumping of bitcoin cash (remember that?) at their upcoming scamference to settle down again in Asia.
Further it is St Andrew's day. He's the patron saint of Scotland, Greece and Russia. All near the core of the currency war and all rather spiffy places.

October 14
Reason: We continue the exponential trend after we consolidate for a month. With all the new crypto hedge funds that have formed this year and people searching for yield, we'll continue making new ATHs in 2018.

I think the recent downtrend is interested because altcoins seem to be falling the same amount as bitcoin. Check it again, THE SAME AMOUNT. Bitcoin drops 10%, Ethereum 15% and most altcoins are falling a % in between the two numbers. Obviously there are a lot of altcoins, but I would expect most of them to fall double or triple the amount of Ethereum at least. I think this says a lot about future prospects and the different communities. Many of the top altcoins have strong long-term hold potential. People aren't dumping them.

and a good background analyse of Dimon "Fraund" definition : http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09-14/if-you-are-drug-dealer-murderer-or-open-account-jpmorgan

banks are only the simple definition of Fraund, today (look 2008).

Quote
To be fair, Dimon does raise a valid point about Bitcoin’s (and most major cryptocurrencies’) unbelievable price runups.

Bitcoin is up nearly 4x since the beginning of this year, and nearly 30x over the past four years.
That’s not supposed to happen.
And it’s always precarious to buy or speculate in anything that’s at its all-time high.
Speculation is, after all, what’s driving most of this boom.

The original Bitcoin ‘White Paper’ from 2008 described the concept as a “peer-to-peer version of electronic cash” to “allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.”

In other words, Bitcoin was intended to be a medium of exchange for the digital world. Send money. Receive money. Buy things online. E-commerce.

That was a hell of an idea that makes a lot of sense.

The price doesn't look beautiful, but the trading volume is incredible. Nearly double compared to previous days, and the trading volume for the whole crypto market is around 6.4 billion dollars (last 24h).

I'll take 10/11/2017.

Because... reasons... (I'm also guessing the 2x fork will be dead by around that date, as others have already said, which should give us the final push to new ATHs)

next ATH: 22/11

We need 2 months to clear this mess. Let China pack their stuff and be gone for good. (they dont want Ebay/Amazon.. they make Alibaba/TaoBao... they dont want BTC.. they can make their own!)

November is the month.. Oh memories from 2013...

Why 22? cause my crystal ball says so..  Roll Eyes

i trust my ball. It does better than AT gurus...

Bought at 3286, hopefully bottom is in now

I think that if or when the 20 000 yuan line breaks, all hell will be loose. Interesting times. I guess I'll skip sleeping for tonight.

20 000 Yen broken! Interesting to see what happens now...

Why financial institution like JPMorg is a crash-test dummy without a post-it "buy bitcoins" : http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09-14/dear-jamie-dimon

Quote
Central Banks Have Purchased $2 Trillion In Assets In 2017

This 8-year long central bank intervention has:

1) transferred billions in what were once interest payments earned by savers and pension funds to banks such as J.P. Morgan

2) boosted your sales by flooding the financial system with low-cost credit

3) lifted your stock far above its value in an unmanipulated market and thus

4) awarded you immense stock-option and bonus-based wealth for doing nothing but letting the central banks enrich J.P. Morgan and its peers.

In other words, your claim of "financial genius" is based solely on central bank intervention. J.P Morgan would have done very well in the past eight years if they'd replaced you with a crash-test dummy. In fact, the shareholders would have done much, much better if the crash-test dummy had a Post-It note on its chest reading "buy bitcoin."

Notice how this whole massive pump really started around 3000 on 8/4.

Also notice how they are poised for a third leg down, probably dipping.... wait for it.... just below 3000.

Yep, massive whales pretty much caused this whole run up.

"They'll only run it up massively if they have a way to bring it back down just waiting in their back pocket."

I don't know Why but i Just want to make same ATH guess like last time
Rules ....: the one  with the right date of ATH gets .25 btc paid directly  (UTC time)    (closest to ATH.....)
I look to Every page in here from now When a date is picked first iT cannot been taken again ( 1st =1st)
Another .25 btc is rewarded for ho makes best of technical analyse of the time When we strike ATH.... and Why iT happens at that time.....
So This .25 also only to been payed 1 time .... and not 2 times te same explanation.... (1st =1st)

Both answers to win must been inside before 20-09-2017
Goodluck to the ones that like This

UPDATE listmaking                 notice a * is when the person put good enough explanation for other .25 BTC  (person with no * only play ATH or have to put little better )
