http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09gdn8dSupposedly Bitcoin will be the subject of probably Britain's biggest phone in radio show in a few minutes. No doubt it's going to be fucking unbearable to listen to. Just tuned in. Strikes me that any programme that illustrates a feature on new railways with a Flanders and Swan song from the middle of the last century is not likely to be hosting a cutting edge discussion. I am braced and keeping my tea away from my keyboard...

Starting to feel the same way as I felt back on the MtGox Peak in 2013. The world is mine... Too euphoric. Also seeing too euphoric comments everywhere... Hope this one will not end up like back then...
No more MtGox, that was a special case: only MtGox around, and the chinese, Today, we have a completely different situation ! Lean back, and enjoy the adoption phase ! We have governments and banks that thinks Bitcoin is a problem for them. Just a question of time till things get nasty.

Where can I see Korean and Japanese charts easily?
Since Bitflyer will often block IP from outside Japan, the best charts are probably, BTC/JPY https://cryptowat.ch/bitflyer/btcfxjpyBTC/KRW https://cryptowat.ch/bithumb/btckrwThey are doing ridiculous volume today too, literally in the billions. Also we might have break a new record today with almost 400K tx as per Blockchain.info. Of course, this is not sustainable and is only possible with hashrate pointing back to BTC chain and even old miners re-activating due to the ridiculous profitability now. The next difficulty adjustment is gonna hurt.

Haha, I try to keep away from any mainstream BTC news - price is looking awesome =D, I'd earned more than my monthly salary between midnight getting out of bed today

Before everyone dumps their BTG, can we atleast try to see it surpass bcash
Deal. I’m in 🤪 Count me in as well and me! Ditto. Dump all your BCH for BTG. Hell, I may even start mining or buying the stuff (BTG) just so I can see Ver/Wu/CSW/McAfee camp suffer... let's make those Bitcoin Gold boyzz richer than Ver. And someone plz fork BCH like 5 or 6 times.... that would be great.

Deal. I dumped most of my BCH for Bitcoin, only got a couple left, just incase it makes a move some time. I haven’t touched my BTG yet, when does everybody think is the right time?

Yeah... I hate to also be that guy, but it does feel almost exactly the same: Nov 2013: Bitcoin dips from 800 to 600, then takes off. (First selloff) Check Nov 2017: Bitcoin dips from 8000 to 6000, then takes off. (First selloff) Check Nov 2013: Bitcoin breaks 1000. Euphoria ensues. Check Nov 2017: Bitcoin breaks 10000. Euphoria ensues. Check Nov 2013: Bitcoin starts jumping 8-10% per day. Check Nov 2017: Bitcoin starts jumping 8-10% per day. Check Dec 2013: Bitcoin hits 1150, then majorly crashes. Major FUD bad news that no one anticipated comes out of left field. Check Dec 2017: ?? Well if history repeats, it's not like anyone didn't know... Crossing my fingers that this time it really is different.

You mean you don't remember all the "Wallstreet is coming in!" bullish talk back in Nov 2013? I do. In fact Barry Silbert was constantly tweeting such things daily, and Novogratz was being interviewed by the MSM saying "$2000 is right around the corner. I think Bitcoin will end the year [2013] at $2000+". Now look what he's out there saying. Remember that shit?

I'm prepared to hodl through another 3-year bear market Definitely waiting until the next halving in 2020 regardless of what happens. It could drop to zero I wouldn't be eating a steak less. Most of the money I put in was profit from a very good wager. Doubt I'd buy any more BTC even if it dropped under $2000. But LTC might be worthwhile since the halving there will really change things including the price I think.
