This is clearly as high as bitcoin will ever get, basically. Maybe just a little bit higher because there are people who haven't realized this is a failed experiment, but that's it. 1 bitcoin will absolutely never be worth $50k. $100k? LOL, no.

What'd I tell you guys? That was the last ATH bitcoin will ever see. People are finally waking up to how much of a failure this project is. Here, if bitcoin gets over GDAX ATH of $11,485, I'll give the the first person to quote me here the last of my bitcoin, which is 0.1 BTC.

You're too late for the bitcoin that nobody will ever see. It's not going to happen. I've been studying bitcoin for a long time. I know this market, and I have confirmed sources that it's done for.

It is an honour for me to have a deal with one of the most legendary bear of this forum. I remember of me listening "the proudhon song" on YouTube many and many times during this years. I don't doubt you know the market, but I think you still don't understand it.

Too bad you didn't have a whole coin but you won't be a legendary bear unless, I will store your last btc in a special cold wallet.

So I was just referred to Bitclub by someone I trade bitcoin with in meat space, says he was introduced to it through his father who is some kind of business person who knows the owners personally. I have no reason to doubt he believes what he told me, but even so, anyone know anything about it? Safe(ish) to invest in?
The way I see it, cloud mining is a flawed business model (for the subscribers, not for the sellers).
If mining is indeed profitable, why should they sell a slice of their profit for a fair price?
Either the price is unfair, or it is just a scam.

Of course, they might be selling shares of the mining profit for fiat money immediately needed for maintenance, or for acquiring new gear and so on, but it's a very long shot. I'd imagine they should have their cash flow under check if they're so successful. And I've never heard of current mining gear being sold on credit. On the contrary, it is usually paid before delivery - often much too long before delivery.

TL;DR I reckon you'd be better off investing your subscription fee directly in bitcoin.
Googled a bit and yeah, doesn't seem profitable. From what I gather, the payout is less than the contract price, but if you refer people you can make a profit. So it's an unprofitable bargain for subscribers, but with elements of ponzi thrown in to keep the thing afloat. Clever enough, until they shut down, and probably still legal (enough).

Does anyone knows where one can find a decent real-time Bitcoin-days-destroyed chart with better granularity than the one provided by OXT?

I figure we're gonna be dicking around at or just below 10k for a lil bit, then go up with 10k becoming the new floor.

This time is different.

Paradigm shift.
