Remember six consecutive ChartBuddy posts? Those were the times.
I slowly grew to hate Chartbuddy because I thought someone had actually posted something. So has anyone here actually treated themselves to anything after passing an arbitrary milestone?

I can't spend on my 1 BTC i want it intact. When i get money from other things then i'll splash out on some garlic bread because i'm on a power save for my trip to asia

Yes I took profit out of the market after hitting a pre-defined goal that I set about six months ago. It was lovely to have this money sloshing around in my bank account. But I had forgotten to pre-plan what to spend the money on. So after some careful I thought decided what I really wanted to do with it was treat myself to some bitcoin.

I can't spend on my 1 BTC i want it intact. When i get money from other things then i'll splash out on some garlic bread because i'm on a power save for my trip to asia When I made my first Bitcoin $1mCAD, I splurged and bought myself a nice little Gallen-Kreuger bass amp. Cost me about $1.2kCAD. I bought it with dollars though. There's no way I'm parting with even a single satoshi unnecessarily. I personally think John Macafee's dick is safe.

Excellent choice. Sir has purchased wisely.

It's going to break ATH but might have a little wiggle to around $10,300 first, or not.

Nice, well if i can wait until $300,000 i should be able to live in the place that i normally go to in Asia. Right now i'm doing it in 4 month stints on my normal YT earnings but it's not enough to go full in for a year, it's nearly there but bitcoin would allow me to not worry about any other money for 20 years if i divided that amount per month is £900. I can live off less than that right now £250 per month. Better goal is $1 Million and buy an apartment in Hong Kong far out of the city and then rent the other small room on airbnb

The weird thing is he was clean as a whistle from about 1980 up until his unusual phase began. I wonder what tipped him over the edge again.

John was always a bit weird. As for treats, nothing much, it's end of year and I'd like to minimize the tax disasters. That said I'd probably just spend it on something stupid.

The CME announcement was after banking had closed in Asia. I would expect a Monday uptick.
Meanwhile the Coinmarket Cap price is up 2% daily and we are sitting around like a bunch of mopey teenagers.
Without getting into the politics of it, is someone able to provide a snapshot of what the tax cuts in the Republican tax bill are? I am a foreigner so have no direct interest but wonder whether any of it might impact bitcoin. For example, are there changes to CGT treatment.

I took my wife out to dinner last night to the best steakhouse in town. They asked if we were celebrating anything. I put "celebrating Bitcoin hitting $10,000" on the online reservation system. I also mentioned this to everyone that asked us. Not one person knew what the hell I was talking about. Sigh

By the time it hits half a million, fully HALF the people you talk to will have heard about it, and a quarter of them might even own a thousandth of a bitcoin
