What BTC is doing now just makes think of what ETH is going to do next year. The adoption rate of muggles now is astounding and I wouldn't be surprised to see BTC at 50,000 by the middle of next year. And if that is the case, ETH will be past 2,500. But that of course is my uneducated guess.

More like sub $200 as people realize it's a broken coin with no security, no privacy, no scaling, and no use case.  Of course the shit that gets pumped to the sky needs zero of any of that, just look at (pick a shit coin).

What do you mean no use case? It's a breeding ground for Crypto Kittens!!!   Roll Eyes

For those that didn't see it yesterday. If you're feeling rich today and would like to send some love to Andreas - this might be a good time.

Too bad the Forex market isn't using bitcoin. Seems like maybe they should. I wonder what's driving the Australian demand.

I was really surprised when I saw that a day ago.  I did remember donating to Andreas' fund for Dorian Nakamoto in early 2014.  I didn't know that Andreas was basically broke at the time.

All US allies are onboard with BTC, whilst russia and china banned it straight away...
If I connect the dots... Maybe we are experimenting on a real financial system that instead of destroying the government, will expand it to a global power?

OMG i sold at 9-10k because i thought it woudl corretc and now thiis? Idk if I shoudl buy back or not. FML

That's fucked.

Now if you sold 10% or less, then who gives a shit, but the problem with a lot of folks is that they try to gamble and predict the direction of the market... and how you gonna know?

Actually there were strong indications that we continued to have considerable upwards and ongoing price pressures, so you are not being very insightful to be gambling too much on DOWN.

I wonder if it is actually profitable to mine BTC with a GPU again? Probably not, but one could hope.

OK finally sweeping a small paper wallet, so gotta dump me some clone coins.  I got BCH, BTG, and Bitcore.  Using Coinomi. did I miss any?   It's not old enough for clams...

Edit: You didn't miss any but here is what may be coming and you will need your old key for BCD:

11/23/2017   Bitcoin Diamond (BCD) - Already split but launching in Dec
12/12/2017   Bitcoin Platinum
12/17/2017   Super Bitcoin
Sometime in Dec   Bitcoin Uranium
Sometime in Dec   Bitcoin Silver
12/25/2017   Bitcoin God (GOD)?
1/2/2018   Bitcoin Cash Plus (BCP)
1/28/2018   Segwit 2x (B2X) retry?

That's a lot of airdrop. If they happen.  Looks like 1k gains in a day are all the norm now, WTF, really?  Stamp about to break 14K?Huh
There's been a lot of "told you so's" this past week, well, you know, without having to say it.  Now I'll tell folks that 14K will look ridiculously cheap this time next year.  Personally, I still believe a $500-1000 investment today will be enough to start considering retirement in 5-7 years.

It seems like Andreas has just become a bitcoin millionaire due to some serious influx into his adress today, I'm glad he's finally receiving the recognition he deserves from the community. He's such an invaluable asset to the whole bitcoin community for his propagation of education and adoption about bitcoin. Go show him some love if you can!

Yawn.
My oh my. It's been three and a half years since I've been here the last time.

Ridiculous shenanigans is what I see. Gifs of rollercoasters and rockets. It is Gentlemen.
Ten thousand got me quiet excited and I really sold a bit on that 10.5k bump I mistakingly interpreted as a dead cat bounce.
Oh well. I'm beyond that now. I am numb. What should I do with that money? I sit and watch the price rise. I hear the people around me getting their money ready, waiting for the next dip. There is a giantic green candle and there will be a big red one soon. But at the bottom they wait. Hungry for "cheap coins". Because when Bitcoin has been up there. It will get back there eventually. It always has.
Sometimes it took longer, but then it just ran past the old price up into the sky.
And there is the secret. There is no bubble, just dips, always and ever. Who sold further down, will buy the next dip.
I think now I wait for 100k$. Presumibly at the end of 2018.

If anyone wants to know if this is an s-curve just look at lightning. If it is ready before this one pops, it won't pop.

Those $500 corrections are coming closer together, barely keeping up with the pace of the rally.

Hopefully they're keeping this thing from running away with itself.
