Thank you. No.

LTC is just another way to make more BTC. You're just too stupid to see.

Take a look at that chart. Couple hours of profit, several months worth of losses.

The outright disgust of some people toward anything LTC is interesting.  You'd think LTC raped their mother or drowned their kitten or something.

I agree 100%.

Get in. Get out. Profit.

Or at least that's the plan.

Lol, this reminds me of goldbugs being utterly disgusted with BTC bugs. I guess people just can't help it. May I remind you fellas that competition is a good thing and that it would be in the best interest for the world if LTC did relatively well? If BTC's encryption gets broken or some other fatal bug pops up, we need a plan B to fall back on and that candidate is most likely LTC. It does nobody any good if LTC's growth is stunted and nobody invests any programming time, energy and money in it. With no proper coin to fall back on, we are just too vulnerable.

Or MAYBE there are still users, that are aware this is USD/BTC wall observer topic. Ltc has its fair share of space elsewhere on this forum. Now, sod off.

As has previously been mentioned, LTC is having an influence on the price of BTC.  I just find the hostility interesting.  I have no clue what "sod off" means, but it doesn't sound nice.

It's almost humorous to hear long-term Bitcoiners using the same arguments against Litecoin, as many did against Bitcoin.  I mean let's get real here.  Bitcoin may have a far superior infrastructure to all other alts, but that's not really saying much either.  Bitcoin is mostly speculation too.  This isn't people buying Bitcoin to go shopping, this is people buying Bitcoin to make money.  I'm not saying any alts do or don't offer advantages over Bitcoin but who cares.  Right now, it's all speculation and the more money coming into the crypto currency space, is less money being circulated through government fiat.  Try to remember, this is about changing our global monetary system FIRST, getting "rich" off your favorite little currency is a distant second.  I say, the more the merrier.

BTW-Litecoin just broke $1 Billion market cap so call it what you want, but it was pretty serious when Bitcoin accomplished it.  Not sure why it would be any less significant in this case.  I call it a big win for the entire space.  Deal with it.

I don't have an issue with people talking LTC in terms of its effect on BTC. But bragging how much you made with LTC is just pumping and belongs to a troll box with the fontas crowd

I have a serious question for ALL of you regulars here... Don't you people EVER sleep? Grin

After reading about... urm... 14 pages of debate I think I must post some thoughts here for you. Most of us here have absolutely no idea of arbitary investments / exchanging currencies. Unless you're familiar with something similar (ie: Forex/XE/derivatives etc) I suggest you pick your cryptocurrency of choice and stick to "holding". This is the safest bet you will ever have in order to get profit. Getting in and out from exchange to exchange and currency to currency (even if you're 24/7 at it) will end up in tears for you (in most cases) if you don't have previous experience and knowledge.

I personally follow and post here the 5 rules of success for you:
1. Don't get emotional from other's people thoughts.
2. Not everyone here is a "nice person" you can trust.
3. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, DON'T TRADE.
4. HOLD!!!
5. Until you desperately need the money follow rule #4.

Good Luck!
