Someone wants to cash out $3M on Stamp at exactly $1k. Any whale wants to exchange a few of his millions for a 3 thousand BTC?

I guess its fun when you request a $3M withdrawal on Stamp. I can imagine the face of your bank manager when that wire arrives, especially if you never had a balance greater than a few k's  

I'm sure there is a buyer but thanks to our banking system, they cant move $3million as quick and easy....

I did transfer of five figures and my bank asked me all kind of questions..... some even privacy related.


Base on my experience, if what you said happen, (million of dollars to an few k balance account), the bank will freeze your account.

I'm excited as everyone else and want to see this going to 10k but people seem to forget that all it takes it one whale dumping 30k coins and we're back at 400 and then panic selling will bring us even lower. And all confidence will be gone if such a thing happens.
It might take months to go up from there again.
And there are still quite some people who have the coins to do such thing.
Let's just hope that whale won't do it this way. Let's hope he won't want to crash the market while selling.

I suspect the real madness will take another 1-2 weeks to hit. New money following the flood of >1000 USD new coverage will take some time to get into the exchanges, especially if the verification queues are backed up.

I wonder www.kncminer.com has a Chinese site (has for a few months) but MOST imho did not make the last cut. KNC is now taking PREVIOUS 1st run CUSTOMERS orders (in part for believing in their fledgeling company ..when it was smoke/mirrors in april) ....in 2 weeks it will be open to ALL to order

What is gonna happen to the KNC site China when all those folk who'd like a miner can pre-order one (est time of delivery imho march) at 3 PH min hash rate?

it is gonna be nuts imho .... in that KNC has already proven they can get stuff out the gate in mass as promised

anyway anything that inspires confidence like a lot of folk waiting on a miner has to help word of mouth and press wise to promote BTC

Haha, so much fun to show your bank statement to people close to you if they have no idea. Probably stupid though

Anyhow, moving 7 figures of fiat is not easy unless you have already moved similar amounts in the past. From one side, I'm not so sure Bitstamp can move 7 figures quickly (Gox certainly not, as they have 500k monthly limit plus all kind of delays). From the other side, even if the exchange is able to wire you such amount in one piece (and i doubt it), if you are a "regular joe" that lives month-by-month and never had seen that amount of cash in your balance you can be sure that you will get a lot question from your bank manager before they even try to credit the money to your account.

Whoever still keeps their stash of coins now dont cash out like that. They probably understand bitcoin and not stupid as you think they are.
