I cant cancel my order on gox. I clicked cancel ten times but it always pops up again. Somebody else?

Me too - have uncancelable orders on there - I kept trying to put them in and every time I refresh / re-login, they are back.  Terrifying !

Maybe the server keeps rebooting. Due to lack of an alive-enough CMOS battery, the OS loads the real time clock value from disk. Server executes trades, fucks up and boots.

Change the BIOS battery, magicaltux.

Looks like a bug on the database end where it's stuck in a loop where the last transaction is contantly getting rolled back and transactions are being done all over again.

What is going on with GOX?  What is going to happen when it is fixed?  Is this thing going to just drop like a rock?

Seriously, Mt.Gox ?!

I see the price in EUR falling to the 630s, my order gets processed, price goes down to 625.12 EUR.
Then Mt.Gox rolls back the trades and we're back at 660 EUR and my trade(s) never happened. Saw it happen 3 times already.
I have NO idea how many BTC and how much fiat I have right now. And even after 30 minutes, some orders are still "Pending". Not cool.

PS: It just happened again. Down to 625.12 EUR, then back to 660.00 EUR. #MtGoxLoop
The trade @ 631.24 is mine.

One question is whether it's just repeating old data or whether it's actually repeating the trades too, so that someone who put in a market sell order for a small amount of their stash has actually sold it all for an unknown price.

The media which carried this rally to over 1200 will crucify bitcoin now and drive the price into depression.

I can confirm that withdrawing BTC from Gox is still working at the moment.  Just pulled everything out.  Very much doubt I'll be going back there again. Wink

btc-e now appears to be leading the way on the recovery.

Can gox please just go away?  They are as incompetent as it gets.

Looks like a bug on the database end where it's stuck in a loop where the last transaction is contantly getting rolled back and transactions are being done all over again.

You're not the first to say something weird is happening on Gox.  They'd be better off stopping trading for 15 mins if something is messed up so no one panics.
