He's well known for signalling pump and dumps for altcoins via twitter. He also offered a subscription service to alert people he was about to do something.
It's rather easier to drop a few billion whatevercoins that can be whipped up in an afternoon. If he has 400,000 Bitcoins I'd hope he had more useful things to do with his life and money.

From 2011. Probably gox or sr Could be many different things. The round value makes me think there is more where that came from.

So TERA, are you still bearish? Ok, I know the answer to that - my question is, at what break would you call the trend reversed?

Yeah, I think we are building momentum to break through this trend later today. Last minute BTC shopping.

So, now is a good time to buy? Or wait a little bit for it to go lower?

There's nothing that indicates doing anything. So far we're somewhat repeating what happened 24 hours ago, but the volume is actually even more tame. I'm not certain anyone cares to run the price up like last night; perhaps just let it malinger on as per usual this week.

My prediction for what it's worth (which is probably negative 2BTC): We're getting very close to breaking the downward trendline. The problem I see is that Christmas falls right in the middle of the week. This week may essentially be a dead week with nothing happening. Next week New Years falls on a Wednesday as well. I think we probably rise a little bit but tread water just between $700-750 until these holidays are over. Once business gets going again in January, that's when we may see the big rise.

Not a trader here, but this sounds likely to me. Majority of the world has some sort of end of year family stuff going on, taking them away from their normal routine. This would lead to a decrease in trading and spending patterns. Plenty could be happy to just let it be till the new year.

Flip a coin. Can't be worse than the advice you will get on this forum. Actually I recall a very old thread doing exactly that. The user who did that was here a few days back: said it worked as well as, although not better than, TA. Get flipping

I think a little bit of patience will go a long way in this market. edit:if it's helpful set bitcoinreminders.com or others if you know of them, and just wait for your price window (because perhaps when you get to what was your 'target', you may have the time to stalk a better entry point/ exit point)

I think you guys calling a breakout are looking at the wrong line. The current price is nowhere near the original downtrend line (shown in blue). However, the last bounce ended unusually low, creating a new enhanced trendline (in white). The pink area is a resistance. We have broken the white line, but this is of debatable significance, and we have yet to break the blue line. Also, I would like to see some volume when we do so.
