I've always been under the impression that i286 was the correct number and other services had some issue where they lost data.
There are many times I am trading during high volatility where there will be a large wall showing on i286 but not other services and i'll see orders going through at the wall price.
Does anyone know for sure?

Arbitrage over. Time for another dump @ different exchanges. The price @ btcchina went up, because the fiat sitting in accounts was used to buy bitcoins and transfer them out. Demand was higher than supply -> price goes up Get ready for another 1-200$ correction. |

people leave their precious computer for a few days. They don't want to trade while being unable to act accordingly. We should see smaller orderbooks now, ramping up after xmas/new year. 2015 will be nice  |

mt.gox 6 hour chart.  Double Pennant... First one broke out downward but this second one we are in, is it going to go up or down? Looking at BitcoinWisdom now (5:55 am CST) there is still no break out but the point is increasing in sharpness. Which way is going to happen up or down? |
