If you study the charts and the confirmed data you can clearly see that this marks the end of the short-term, irrational up-trend. We've resumed bitcoin's downtrend. Like I said earlier, $15k is likely unobtainable (on any time-scale). Bitcoin will never set ATHs again. Soon it'll be clear enough to everyone in the market. 2017 was bitcoin's last big move. The downtrend will hold. By 2020 $10k bitcoins will be a dream. 2021, $1k. By the end of that decade bitcoin will be a hilarious memory.

I have basically the same idea as LFC_Bitcoin, except I'm guessing he has more coins than me.

It’s all about having a nice fiat income so you can live nicely. The money we make from bitcoin can buy the real stuff, big house, holiday home etc.

I need a % of my bitcoin profits to work for me though - i.e. bring money in. Otherwise no matter how much you have you’re just spending bitcoin to live & I don’t want to do that.

I’ll sell about 6BTC at $25,000.
I’ll sell around 50% of my proper stash at $100,000 & invest that properly to make money.
I will then be in a position I never dreamed of until inheritance which will be a long time hopefully.

I owe bitcoin so much. It’s going to make so many of our dreams come true.

All fun aside, it feels weird receiving such a generous amount just for having some fun. I am sure Mic is doing well for himself, and I do too with or without Bitcoin. It is play money nowadays but staying humble is important to me and realize we really are fortunate being here this time in history. There are a lot of preconditions understanding the value of Bitcoin and being able to invest, which many less privileged will likely never meet.

Need to make up my mind what I will do with it, probably nothing/hodl which is what I am good at. It might one day make a positive change in someone’s life.

Being financially independent of course helps.

I tried to sell during the big dip, bad idea, I couldn't really make it, only partly exec. I bought back at a lower price, but didn't do the maths before, and ended up losing 250€ with the fees.

Then I figured, I'm bad at this, why not continue ? Bet the house on big as margin trades, as soon as the sell orders execed, the price jumped and I went 5000€ in the red. At some point I was probably 10000€ in the red, but I stopped watching.

Fortunately I'm bold already !

Finally I managed to recover, ended up with as many coins I started with, and 1200€ on top.

I won't do it again.

Kraken made more money in fees than I made, of course. But I don't blame them, I should have invested in the company !

I must move to the US, 60k is much more than my salary, and I would gladly pee in a cup for that kind of money ! I don't do drugs except alcohol, and mostly drink socially.

As for the justification, depends on the job. For example I just received an email announcing my company will do random drug/alcohol tests at the corporate HQ where I work, to appease workers on construction sites that must pass these screenings. Of course they work dangerous jobs, not desk surfing, but I can understand the idea. Also, we will be notified in the morning that we're getting tested, so since I only drink with my colleagues at lunch, we won't get caught ! I think that's by design, they only want to catch alcoholics.

Also, they won't be fired for this, but helped. That's what they say, anyway.

I don't really care much. I don't have plans to sell in this year and way are way above what I had expected. As I said we are way ahead on schedule. But, other than that, this is fine.

In the meantime I am scalping the shit out of this action... with play money though.
