Morning and thanks for that, Liverpool, oh hey and Belgium^ :: and other brits^^^^), I nearly forgot to HODL. Phew, coulda sold all my coin just then. I mean the price is pretty amazing now. Coulda cashed in my chips and bought a boat. Well more of a small dinghy. well a tiny inflatable. anyway I think what you're saying with your no-nonsense, wisdom-of-the-North stuff there is too sensible. bitcoin is unlikely to do what would be best and just range here for months. i expect violent moves pretty shortly.
must remember to hodl through them

for amateur-level scalping  Grin
some people use this https://coinfarm.online/ but it's discredited
this is better now https://bfxmargin.com/
also gr8 https://gistpreview.github.io/?c9fba214ea2eec70a130ef993aa33b27
watch the bfx shorts and trade accordingly
and notbad https://tucsky.github.io/SignificantTrades/# theres a newer version aggr.trades or something
you just need btc/usd to move ~12 dollars to be in profit after fees on binance
don't get me started on tools for alts scalping

You will have to stop doing the games after Q4. When we hit $100,000 it will be a lot of money given away Wink

Here the first 100 WO family members.
Would anyone be interested in seeing a full list of all the users who ever posted in this topic, sorted by post count (highest first)? I can scrape 24000 pages if there is a demand for it Tongue

If I try to force it to fit, this is what it looks like.  A brief dip below $10k then non-stop run to moon.  Which is nice but seems rather optimistic.

Trying to overlay a 2014-2015 chart and expecting the same behaviour would be recognizing that the ecosystem is the same as 4 years ago..

Well it is largely the same at a very high level. Seasonality and the halvening remain as key drivers. Just don’t expect to be able to daytard from it.

That’s also why force fitting the fractal as above is wrong, you lose the seasonality.

Trading in a sideways range with low volatility. Definitely a time for accumulation, this is. I wonder what the price will be on 1st January 2020, I had a little think a few days ago. What do you guys think? Something like $15,000?

I think you run it perfectly, no need to change anything really. The most important rules are nobody with under 10 earned Merit. It stops abuse of newbies, alts etc.

I don’t think anything else needs to be done really, it’s good what you did already.

You think the present day power consumption of Bitcoin can increase by two orders of magnitude?  HAHAHAHAHA.

A lot of energy will get consummated to secure Bitcoin network once Bitcoin goes over few 100k. But it will not be just increase of energy, but the energy will get more expensive. What is logical when there is higher demand, and that will make that less energy will be needed to secure Bitcoin network.  Or let me explain it more simple. 50 times higher Bitcoin price dont means 50 times more energy needed to secure network, but only 25 times more if energy become once more expensive.

It was. I playfully ridiculed bitcoinPsycho about his prediction but it turns out he was more accurate than most, if not all, which says a lot. Mainly that bitcoin is indeed Psycho.

Why am I not surprised by this?
