"I spent an hour and a half at the entrance to the emergency room of a major New York City hospital this afternoon, watching, observing. No panic. No crisis, no emergency that I could see whatsoever. Zilch. Nothing. I saw perhaps a hundred people associated with the hospital who couldn't have been more unrushed, lackadaisical, and/or unconcerned. Not one person would speak to me on camera (video).   I saw all of four people enter the hospital on gurneys....3 of whom were very old, none of whom seemed to be in any discomfort at all. ......... And for this we shut down essentially all economic activity in NYC-- an unprecedented measure in all of human history. Somebody help me out, because I think I'm going to go insane now......"

-Pamela Rice, NYC citizen, 15 hours ago

What is the fallacy for equating what is currently happening with what would have happened?

I guess you missed the 80 bazillion MSM news reports of NYC hospitals saying they are literally being overrun with COVID-19 patients? Like today. Now. Like hundreds of dead bodies everywhere. Panic, everywhere. Supposedly.

Here's one:
https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/nyc-deaths-top-1300-as-potentially-catastrophic-apex-looms-later-this-month/2356187/

You know the MSM doesn't publish anything that isn't sensationalized. Who would read a factual piece unless they get a little dopamine out of it? Also, you know lazy Americans, if you have to take care of one extra patient or work one extra hour, that is considered being overwhelmed. Got to get home to the Cheetos and ice cream.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

slight correction

if you pay in cash he will gladly take the $80 as his staff doesn't have to fight the insurance company for it for it

Why would you think that?

If the bill says $120, you're on the hook for $120 w/o insurance.

Plus, my last doctor was a lady woman.

pro tip

negotiate a cash fee ahead of time

I have done this, it is a real thing.

I don't know if ALL doctors have a separate cash schedule, but many do, it pays to ask.

Probably some good 'ol boy doctors do it, and they'd rather have cash-in-hand than an IOU. On the flipside, I've had to write collections letters to specialty drug patients whose insurance lapsed for $60,000.

I haven't been turned down yet, though the discount varies.  This is in a major West coast city, not out in the sticks.

It is a metric fuckton less paperwork and hassle for them to just get paid now.

If you are, as I guess most observers are, a "pay as you go" type of person it never hurts to ask.

Is that a monthly amount? No wonder everyone else has to pay such high premiums. Grotesque price gouging.

Double bottom

It'll progress like that but in a slow manner... Y'all ready for it?
Y'all remember that $1000 pump on 1st April 2nd April 2019, right? Let's do that again.

I'm proud of myself.

Let's continue this pump till ~$7200 and beyond.

which ones? Big pharma? Media (propaganda brainwashing)? Global banking?

Read somewhere the whole thing was kicked off when China took delivery of a sanction-violating shipment of oil from Iran ... Israel-US bloc delivers the bioweapon to Iran-China in retaliation, kills the Iranian General 'mastermind' in a drone strike, Saudis go apeshit dumping oil on Russia and USA ... I noticed Russia and Israel shut their borders down way before anyone else ... kinda like they knew it was the good stuff.

Could just be all a mad conspiracy but it does look a lot like a free-for-all and the fragile peace is all but over. Choose your sides wisely I guess.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Thank you Theymos for developing a "miracle" wonder drug cure for those of us infected with the BCTvid-19 virus. I'm breathing much better today. Even took off my N95 (thanks Homer).

Bitcoin seems to be happy for us too. It's shot up over $7.2k... currently $7215USD/$10140CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

It's about time. Go Bitcoin go.

China must pay.
Fuck off with your stereotypically hysterical American war-psychosis.

Suck my giant black cock.

For some reason it reminded me of El Dude's meme 'Bawb buying the f*cking dip'. That was epic...  Grin

Calling it. ~$25k USD/BTC by July 2020.

I will likely end up regretting this post in hindsight.

Stamp is out of coin again. Buying another 1000 BTC there would push the price close to $10k.
