It seems that the Honey Badger likes 3D printers more that he does gay Xmas cards...

Or, probably, he just doesn't give a fuck...

Hitting the bed early for the famous hodlsleep.
Goodnight, and don't bother with the gay cards, they don't work, it's been proven by science and math.

No way Arrie, you're just being jealous cat cards don't work but gay cards are super effective particularly when posted by Bawb!  Grin

I don't think it's necessary to be Bawb in order for posted gay Xmas cards to work. The experimental data is still somewhat controversial. What seems to help, however, is having performed a number of recent degenerate dip buys. Even if not technically dips, or not technically degenerate, as long as the flow of purchases is regular enough.

I bought Anycubic's newer Mega S. Prusa's are in the same range, afaik even better quality at the higher ended printers and have also good community support.
....

The Anycubic is an excellent choice! I've used it and it's one of the best VFM 3D printers out there. You just need to be comfortable with tweaking and tinkering with the h/w a bit, like you've already done. Printing with PLA, the output is on par with much more expensive printers. It's the more difficult/exotic materials that make the difference IMHO.

And based on Bitcoin's recent performance and expected 2021 price, you'd probably only need 0.1 BTC to get some of the best quality 3D printers out there...

Life's sweet for BTC HoDLers!

Yeah, the thing is a real bargain at 0.1 BTC (this includes a 1kg spool of excellent PLA). I switched to some *m*zon PLA for 0.0011 BTC per kg and that was a bad choice. The Anycubic PLA printed excellently, out of the box, while the cheap one gave me a hard time adjusting parameters to get mediocre results (like Arries mine replica). I always wanted to print ABS, ultimately for a DIY gun, so i came across PETG/CPE because of the fumes when printing ABS. This time i ordered from a specialized dealer.
I got into CNC about a year ago (or make it two, in case my mind fails on this again), and i was thinking quite often about 3DP, but always forgot about it again, mainly because my research for the "best" budget printer never came to an end - a different story.
However, for 0.1BTC this machine is excellent, in the meanwhile i got decent CPE results. And it seems to get "cheaper" over time as well. Thanks, Satoshi  Grin Grin Grin

Good. So i can put the welder's goggles back into the tool cabinet now  Cheesy Cool

Maybe Honey Badger gets bored quickly, so as long as we present different off-topic content to it, he keeps feeling satisfied?

German Banks trying to reinvent the wheel:

Quote
Services like PayPal have always been a thorn in the side of German banks. As an alternative, banks and savings banks want to establish their own new payment system and introduce it in online trading, as the Tagesschau reports.

The Federal Association of German Banks (BdB), the Federal Association of German Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks (BVR), the German Savings Banks and Giro Association (DSGV), the Federal Association of Public Banks in Germany (VÖB) as well as Commerzbank, DZ Bank and Deutsche Bank are involved in the project .
A service for all customers

The plan: using well-known projects such as "#DK" (digital credit industry) and "XPay", a uniform payment system is to be created across all channels. Payment methods such as Paydirekt, Giropay, Girocard and Kwitt are to be combined under a new brand.

With the new service, consumers could then continue to pay at the checkout or conveniently on the Internet. With the functions of Kwitt, a cell phone-to-cell phone payment method would also be on board. Which bank is used by the customer does not matter. Customers could even access the services of the competition.
Federal Cartel Office gives the green light

The Federal Cartel Office has also given the banks the green light for their project - for the time being. "We have no antitrust concerns about the first implementation stage of the project to merge the existing Paydirekt, Giropay and Kwitt services," said the President of the Bonn authority.

This offers the German banking industry a certain degree of legal security in order to be able to "move ahead quickly" with the project. It was also stated that “with regard to the overall project, the banks must first define their plans more specifically in order to be able to clarify further questions”. So this is not yet a license.
Banks are lagging behind PayPal

The banks are currently unable to compete with PayPal's over 25 million users in Germany. Neither Giropay nor Paydirekt, which was launched in 2015, could hold their own against PayPal. In direct comparison: Paydirekt only has around 3.5 million users according to its own information.

(google translated)

Best outcome would be another e-pay service with lighning integration and bitcoin "wallet" like paypal, backed by real corn.

$100k will be next summer at latest. Next December we'll reach $250-$450k. IMHO cards are ok as it's xmas time so why the hell not?  Grin

Bitcoin is almost 12 years old already, but I believe what we are witnessing right now is best described by the Salvador Dali picture and it's name:
"Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man"
